NEW RULING at WrecktANGLE Park
----------------------------------------
Trainers can still nominate dogs for 2 meetings on consequtive days,
but a new ruling now states you can not race them on consequtive days.
Example: BLACK ME ran Monday night at AP and ran 2nd, it was nominated
on the Tuesday day meeting at AP and it was scratched, the stewards
conviently gave this dog 14 days off for injury[as all dogs may well be from now on
that are nominated in this fashion]
I reckon this should be a rule for 4 days not the 1 day imposed.
ON COURSE MENU
---------------------
On Tuesday Baguettes were sold on course for ONLY $7-50.
FRAUDWAY I mean SUBWAY sells a similar product similar size for about half the price.
At least they are trying.
FORMGUIDES
---------------
Tuesday arvo meeting still NO FORMGUIDES for the trots and races AGAIN on course.
Some enterprising junior in Admin will one day go up to thier superiors and
suggest they have about 10 minutes to spare and at a cost of about $2 to print
formguides to pin up on the wall.
The Admin may well agree with this proposterous suggestion as it may stimulate
investment turnover on course.....EVERY DOLLAR INVESTED IS APPROX. 10% COMMISSION
FOR THE CLUB....that means the $2 printing is reimbursed by one $20 bet on course.
This is ground breaking news for the club......only a junior could think of this, none of the
$1.4 million paid to the admin staff is capable of thinking of this.
GOSSIP
---------
MT79 has got the gos on a couple of leading trainers......
LATE MAL

r8-1...FIRE AND PASSION[$2-20] if leads wins.

My thoughts - the club letting trainers nominate dogs for two meetings in two days with them knowing one of them will be scratched is better than them facing the embaressment of having no nominations - its hiding the fact of the poor depth in SA.....apart from Bothing and Ten Tornados there are NO other dogs in SA at the moment that oculd be competitive interstate...thank god both these got thru to the Sprint and Distance final

what about the apparent farcical situation we have here in which a trainer will know that there dog is a late scratching for whatever reason, if they call the club they cop a $50 fine but they can drive to MANGLE PARK or any other track and have the vet check it over and declare it a late scratching and cop 10 days for injury!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
COLLINS EMPIRE

the word is that the COLLINS EMPIRE which was thought to be finishing at the end of the year is now only a DREAM.
the COLLINS EMPIRE will continue to pump out victorian rejects from the WHEELERS but STEVE COLLINS will be interstate. A young trainer will give up his current day job and shack up with girlfriend Tammy COllins up at Murray Bridge to continue the operation.
This trainer realises that not all dogs can race twice a week on a regular basis, in fact he races his dog once a week sometimes once a fortnight. It will be interesting to see how, if anything changes with regards to the racing of their dogs.
we all say their dogs are pigs, cats, call them what you want, but given a little tender care they may not be all that bad if they only race once a week.
it will be interesting to see how it all plans out.

another night at the office.
1 - 1 looks well boxed can jump and posi up well, should be placed. the 6 is reliable and can handle the wide draw. the 2 can be thereabouts and the 8 went well from a wide draw last start. the 3 is a non chaser.
2 - 1 well boxed to be placed. the 2 should be placed. the 4 has good times at strath. the 5 looks to have ability but finds trouble. the 7 has had one start here for one win and looks the one beat. 8 handles the wide draw.
3 - 3 main chances here with 2,4,5 the winning chances with 6,7,8 for 4th in the first 4.
4 - 4 ability unknown but rate highly, the 7 has a good trainer and must be respected.
6 - 3 is a leader only and wont win. the 5 is a nice dog but may be out of its grade here. i think the 8 will definately be running a place.
7 - 3 the jumbo should win, may not lead as the red should boot up, but the jumbo should finish to strong.
8 - 3 looks to be the best dog and it keeps improving.
9 VERY BAD RACE maybe 9 place if its big odds.
10 - 1 boxed to win
11 - 3 best dog and should LAW the red can get the nice run behind it, the 7 if it begins can settle in the death seat. the 8 put in its best run in a long time last start.

Stop breaking SHIEKS rules BAYMAN, we cant
brag about that Ballarat winner when we didnt tip
it in the gambling room.
Just for the record SHIEK , we had 6 bets for 5 collects .
TRUE SIGN was paying $1-00 the win with two minutes
to go, I guess we had too much on it all up.
