AFL Finals

Given that the Crows are guaranteed to play two finals (both at home) and given that they are out to 6.50 for the flag (maybe $7 by tomorrow), I'm seriously considering dropping $300 hundred on them for the flag, for what would be a collect of $1950 at the current price. Then you would bet against them from the second week of the finals onwards. No need to bet against them first up as they will still be there the week after no matter what.

Way I see it, you'd only lose money if they win the flag, which as a Crow supporter I'll be happy to lose a few bucks for that to happen.

Admit that it could come unstuck if West Coast were something real short like $1.28 for prelim but can't see it happening for a final and in reality whoever plays Crows in week 2 will probably be longer than $1.70 at AAMI.
Would be guaranteed to work if they could somehow win the first final :)

ORD - you will guarantee to make a profit from this IF they can win the first final...$6.50 is overs...Id suggest back them on Betfair and they Lay them after the first final - like this

$300- on at $6-60 (current betfair odds) = $1980 return

they win the first final and come into $2.50 for the flag so you LAY them (not to win)

$1000- on at $1.60 = $1600 return

So you have outlayed $1300- in total if they win you profit $680- if they lose you still win $300-, your in a win/win situation.

Personally they will be better odds after this weekend after they los to Melbourne!
