Fawkner too- taken to the back of the field to finish 6th through the traffic was a great effort.

Jock on Dandino reckons it didn't run the trip. It's last 400 was better than anything else and if he hadn't put it on the rails, it wouldn't have had to come from last to win.

Yep, the gate was always the concern .. Had no right to hang on for 3rd after the work it had put in, gutsy effort!!
