TRAINERS BOYCOTT
-----------------------

Leading trainers Collins, Giniotis, Hockley etc have not nominated
thier dogs for mondays meeting.
This meeting is deemed a Wednesday day meeting with the lower wednesday
prizemonies applicable.

GRADING SYSTEM FOR WED. DAY MEETINGS ON MON. NITE
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Im bewildered at how the grading system applies here.
Some high grade dogs have been put into grade 5 races because
they have not won a grade 5 in a day meeting :?:
For example r7-7 BRANDEEN NICK has won 3 races in a row
in the grade 1/2/3 events at night time and is in a grade 5 race
for tonights meeting against cats.
JUMBO FORREST who won 13 races in a row recently will be
scratched fron a grade 4/5 race !!!! due to injury

STRATHABLYN CUP
-----------------------

Our on top selection MADAM LASH killed them.
Mal had it quoted $2-80, it paid that on the TAB.
Did we notice the pathetic formguide in the Sunday Fail.

PREVIEW AND mals RECOMMENDED ODDS
--------------------------------------------------

Quite a few shortys that should win.

R1-1 BRISTOL QUEEN should lead and be hard to beat EW[$2-10]
R2-1 LUCKY TRUMP good 2nd on debut when had no luck WIN [$1-40]
R5...BOXED QUINELLAS + EXACTAS 3/6/8
R6-5 RELLIM THOMAS a grade 3/4 winner last start at AP and gets a run
........because of the day racing rules in a grade 5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
........hard to beat any luck WIN [$1-40]
R7-7 BRANDEEN NICK unbelievably wins 3 races in a row in grades1/2/3
........and gets pitchforked into a grade 5  WIN [$1-50]
R10-2 SAVANNAH LIGHT placed 1st up, either fitter or gutless, trust WIN [$1-80]

DUTCHYS TREBLE
------------------=--

368/5/27 $2 = $12
368/5/7 $5 = $15
8/5/27 $2 = $4
8/5/7 $5 = $5

Middle leg number 5 RELLIM THOMAS will win by a decade if crosses,
but can miss the kick this track, but must trust in trebles.

Good luck all, Im going on course for a look.

rellim thomas could be the lay if he finds trouble.... ive done me doe on him before from middle boxes.................. wheres the betfair phone number?

Careful AG the dog drops from top grade to a nothing field
The dog can only beat itself, any room first 50m he will
annihilate the cats.
Having said that if you can lay RELLIM THOMAS at about $1-20 to $1-30 it
would be the way to go.
If its close to $2-00 i would back it.

JUMBO FORREST us quoted at $13-00 in the last race, but
i expect it to be scratched later this morning.

I am getting used to it AG, i mean wednesday mornings have 8 races and there a couple that are generally NTD and thats been going on for a few months now.

just highlighting the fact and the disappointment of the admin who are failing to do anything about it.

something I notcied on the weekend with Betfair is that unless the race is a 3 horse/dog race they bet 3 divvies for the place...i backed a horse for the place and it ran 3rd in a 7 horse field and got paid after thinking it was NTD!!!!

well another evening at the office.

1 - 3 is the best dog and should be winning whilst the red can be placed.

2 - 1 just wins from the good draw, while the 4 is from a good kennel and was just behind the red last start, respect.

3 - 7 going well at Kulpara - this kennel has a habit of starting dogs at Kulpara before bringing them to town.

4 - 2 - probably run 3rd in a NTD race.

5 - 8 raced over the 720m in Sydney, has been FLYING in its 2 starts here for 2 wins, SHOULD WIN. 6 will be placed, probably 2nd.

6 - 5 as MAL has suggested this should win by plenty, the 6 could pose it a problem early but if the 5 leads.............

7 - 7 just wins, while the red should be placed

8 - 2 best dog, 3 is the main danger.

9 - interesting race 2 interstaters racing here for the 1st time. 3 Very merry is from S. Davies kennel. in its last 4 starts 2 were in sydney and 2 in perth. If big odds its worth having something on, but it may need the run. 5 is just a vic reject for C. Swain, form terrible.
6 Cool Ted looks to be the best dog on exposed form!

11 - 3 Knight School ran ok last wednesday in winning, it ran down an interstate dog for Jovanovic, time was 30:35 which was the slowest of the morning, the quickest was a second faster. should jump well and hold a position and run into a place, but its another NTD race.

As MAL has stated there will be shorties all night long and with the GRADING farce you just need to follow the dogs that are down in grade.

maybe go ALL UP all night long. beware of the NTD. UNLESS YOUR DUTCHY AND YOU ARE ON BETFAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well these are the best suggest go all up. bet mainly for the place on a 1win x 4 place staking plan

start today at the gallops

Scone 5 - 2

Leeton 6 - 1

Kyneton 6 - 9

ANGLE PARK

1 - 3 Moral Assassin - its last 3 at the track the times are between 30:60 and 30:70, thats good enough to be winning but definately placed.

2 - 1 Lucky Trump should be winning but may be really short.

5 - 8 should be winning

5 - 6 should be placed

6 - 5 has to win

7 - 7 has to win

8 - 2 best dog

then we move onto GAWLER tuesday

1 - 4 should be placed

4 - 2 its times at ANGLE PARK are good enough to be in the finish

5 - 8 should be right in the finish.

7 - 3 went 29.83 at ANGLE PARK last start 11/9, that should see it salute here.

8 - 3 the dog is back and chasing, going up to a mixed 4/5 shouldnt matter, it should be placed

9 - 1 drawn to get a sit, take lead down back and WIN

10 - 6 should LEAD and WIN

10 - 8 doesnt go a yard at ANGLE PARK yet is an open grade dog at GAWLER can be placed

MAL followers will notice I got the treble tonight.
Invest $36
get treble a colossal $14 units
paid $2-70
return $37-80
IT PAID A LOUSY $2-70 PUNITAB AT ITS BEST AGAIN.
all up the winners win dividends added up to $4-80

Have to abide by the MT79 maxim " everytime you win you dont lose."

Brandeen Mick paid a staggering $2-00 a win for late MAL followers.

SUMMARY

5 bets
the ew bet ran 2nd [$1-10]
4 win bets for 3 winners and the other one was scratched.

All those downgraded dogs all win, no surprise.
