So who ARE you guys?

We seem to have a nice little community here of punters, tippers and others just wanting a good tip. But who are we all?! I know some of you know each other, from going to meets etc, but thought we could get it out here.

(On that note - I want to head to Mrs Mangle Park soon so I'll need someone to hold my hand!)

What area are you in? What TABs do you frequent, if any? What online places are your favourites? Biggest win? Favourite track? Anything!

I'll start. I live around Modbury, work in the city. Head to the TAB on Pirie each week for betting. Like betting online at racetab and sometimes sportsbet, and getting in to betfair. For the cricket - I like bet365. I've only been to Globe Derby so I don't have much to go on for tracks!

No big wins really - haven't bet "big" yet so can't expect a miracle return!

good topic Diss....I also work in the city but do a fair bit of travelling also...live down south with wife, Dutchy Jnr and another 6 weeks away.

I enjoy the challenge of a punt and a great way to pass the time. Essentially the only races I have a decent punt on is the dishlickers mainly because I get the best results with them but also have enjoyed them in the past by being an owner. Have no idea on the GG's and use this site as a bible for the trot gurus.

Sport betting I dabble in is footy, NBA, MLB mainly...never been into soccer punting for some reason, maybe its the upsets that can occur.

I spread my wings a fair bit and have accounts with betfair, sportsbet, centrebet, IAS and of course PUNITAB!...my belief is that if your going to punt we deserve the best odds

My biggest win - collected $3200- from a Victorian country meeting treble I put on when I was sick a few years ago for interest...cost me $4.50 (1x3x3), still to this day cant work out how it paid that much as the winners were only $7, $11 & $26. That was real nice and made me feel much better! the other memorable one was when my horse won at $28- on Magic Millions day in 04...Had a pocket full of Donnie Bradmans!!!

i live down south, dont frequent the TAB as much as i used to as its better for me at home with the computer and my accounts up and running.

i dont have many online accounts, starting to get into BETFAIR.

WENT to see my taxman yesterday and he was showing me his SPORTSBET account and IM GETTING ONE i cant believe the options they give you, its the best ive seen but ill have to look at it more closely.

i used to like punting on the horses but winter was a bad time, HATE SLOW/HEAVY tracks and if i do have a go on the horses its now when the weather is good and the good horses are racing.
i usually stick to dogs, thats where i make my wages.

sports - bet on most things where i consider value to be, but mainly the footy, i love my centrebet account for the footy bets, i just hope they start on the SANFL soon.

no real big collects as such but when i was living in perth a few years back they have a pick 11/12 in the footy which is the WAFL and AFL. I was alive into the sunday games and Geelong were playing Kanga's at home and richmond playing freo at the 'G' on a bog. richmond 7 goals to no score at 1/4 time, my only concern was geelong as that game was close.

geelong won and freo became the first team to win without scoring in the first 1/4, i would have collected $15,000 which was the pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had the only ticket on richmond according to the approximates.

yep sportsbet.com based in the NT i think.

i was amazed at what they offer you with options.

you can take anyone of the 3 totes, the SP price or 'country best price' (I THINK THATS WHAT ITS CALLED) which gives you the best price across the totes and the best fluc!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well we all know that MAL is a very shy person.

he started puntin at a young age, at about 16 he snuck into a TAB and put a 50cent e/w bet on a dog. the dog was in a photo for 3rd. the dog of course ran 4TH!!!!!!!!!!!!! MALS been spending all these years trying to get that $1 back and its cost him $250,000

MALS PUTNING

well we all know MAL likes to punt on the doggies and gives out a couple of LATE MAL trot specials, but he spreads his wallet far and wide in search of getting back all that money and now he's in the business of buying LEMONS

I have done me arks on race horses.
I know a few shady characters at trots and do OK
I have done well at dogs.
I have made a killing on footy betting.
I play cards and win against suckers.
I lose at casinos.
I never play pokies.

I gamble on all TABS especially on the net.
I hate paying to get in on course.
I get frustrated with lazily performed racing administrations.

I lost plenty when I was a young lad.
I have become wiser in the last decade and overall just in front.

I have an abnorMAL lifestyle.
