gdp,

r1 although first up 3 should win (has trialled well) & for multis 1,4,9
r2 top three 6,7,8 while 1,9 could sneak a drum, while 2 has lots of ability but keeps galloping so is worth risking until he learns how to trott
r3 for the treble 1,3,5 & add 2,8 for multis top pick is 5
r4 for treble 1,5 & add 2,3 for multis with next best 7
r5 very open for the treble 1,2,5,7,8 (7 won on sat while 8 won on friday) i'd be on the 1 as i think it'll lead & win but it is an open race
r6 1,3,4,7 these four are the only four i have under double figures & it is first 4 race !!
r7 chances 4 (trialled reasonably well),8,9,10 while 5,6 could sneak a place, the top pick is another grubs horse 10

suggested bets
r1 no3 win
r5 no1 e/w (rated 3/1)

treble,
1,3,5/1,5/1,2,5,7,8 (cost $15.00 for 50 cents)

good luck on the punt

R1 - Portsea Blue - number 4 is a very nice horse, didn't trial before a nice 1st up effort when second in nice closing sections of 58.9 and 28.7 to last seasons St Leger winner.. will improve and the extra ground and lack of depth apart from the tip from Bayman of the 3 should be running the quinella.

R2 - Go with Trapper Bob - number 2 first go at the mobile and if he trots will be hard to beat

R3 - Not many chances here, but Gunbarrel Straight to lead and just about win, if Judyslittlegem can find the back of the leader, maybe a small chance...

R4 - Only 3 winning chances in this race, Like Unique Style to lead and hand up to Precipation and Time is Ticking to sit in the breeze.. Although the best form in the race Sir Storm will be at best 3 fence, no gate speed the key here..

R5 - Agree totally Bayman, very hard race but I like Misjudge on his nice 2nd to Zerrafoss 2 starts ago, was driven for Leon Cam last start and will be hard to beat

R6 - Spot on assessment, some of those horses shouldn't be racing!! only 4 Trifecta and 1st Four chances.

R7 - Too hard,

I think we should look at having a match race though.. Master Smalltime should drop out of Race 6 (82 starts since Feb 03 for 5 placings and $1830 in prizemoney). Sherwood Ralph should drop out of Race 7 (21 starts for 1 placing and $147 in prizemoney for an 8yr old add to that is has been beaten a combined 402m it's last 5 starts) along with Action Jasper (8 starts for NO placings and beaten combined 321m it's last 5 starts!) and maybe they can find La Charm after Saturday... All quality animals... While we are into breaking losing streaks, maybe we should get Scaffidi to drive one of them...

Small loss today, all due to race 1 - would have been a good result if the 4 could have held on for 2nd.. got the treble for a half and the trifecta on Race 6 with Allbert just getting the fav... some good tipping there Bayman!

as for the first leg of the treble winner i can not believe what it paid, i had it 11/4 3rd favourite it was the obvious leader & was always going to be in the finish & i'm glad you got it as well & good luck tonight

treble paid $134.80 for $1.00, (would have cost $18.00 for the $1.00 unit to get) as two were scratched in last leg that i put up in post
