Race 1 - number 1 should hold the front and with no pressure will be hard to beat, any number of runners can fill a placing, including 2,4,6,7,8
Race 2 - Very hard race but on his best form and his win 2 starts ago, when he came around at the 1000m number 10 is the one to beat
Race 3 - Possibly the best and most difficult race of the night.. Number 5 came home in good sectionals 1st up to score and should improve
Race 4 - 3 will lead and be hard to beat, with 1 using the sprint lane to full advantage. Number 8 (once the best in the state) belongs in a claimer, might win a race then.
Race 5 - 1 to lead and on it's friday night form be hard to beat, good chances also to 2,7,9
Race 6 - Best bet of the night here is Misjudge. sat in the breeze in quick time Monday and went good, only the stablemate can beat it...
Race 7 - if right the number 1 should go close
Race 8 - 1 will lead from the mobile and give every oportunity for the 7 to beat it on the lane, looks a good quinella chance
Race 9 - some ordinary horses here, but can't tip against the 1 (1st up for the Hill stable) has gate speed and didn't perform for the previous trainer - due to illness... so she gets another chance. when you consider horses like Hancock (35 starts for 1 placing) are allowed to race, then anythings a chance

Bayman - will you be attending on Saturday night?? given the grand final was on I wasn't - but have had a change of plans and will be there late in the night...

I did my form last night - while watching Mildura.. missed backing a $8.20 winner (that I backed at globe last week) so gave up for the rest of the night...

Didn't hear about it last saturday - saw a few late scratchings though, but because I wasn't there... I haven't heard anything... do you know??

i think a couple of the late scratchings were from the stable where the trainer had a little fire the other week.

apparently there was a change in personnel on race nights in handling the horses and the person who got the boot wasnt to impressed allegedly................

Well no surprises there.. There is always going to be a problem when they are treating horses they way they do - espcially if a change of personnel occurs.. good work!

Bayman... you are a champion.... Saw him at Globe tonight - was down $250... decided not to bet in a couple of ordinary races and an hour later had hit the front with some good collects.. especially liked the smile while you were taking Damarell's money ...

If anyone followed the Hill stable (or my selections tonight) hopefully you had a few winners, including a $16 and $10 winner..... a bit like the Bayman,
