Folks,
Have heard an extraordinary rumour that may be confirmed today.
John Thornton will not be fielding on the Jack Oatey Medal this year, due to the "medal being decided by a panel", therefore the possibility that betting on it may cause them to be influenced.
If this is correct, this is an amazing turn of events from a bookie that fields on the Brownlow, Norm Smith and Magarey.
Is anyone able to confirm this?
