SPORTSBET an absolute disgrace AFL G/F INAL

I had a series of investments before and during the SS V WC
grand final.
Sportsbet bet in the run and during the breaks.
With 7 minutes to go and WC 7 points up I decided to back WC in the
last quarter.
I rang and they had just suspended betting for the game.
I had deliberately held off until either side were 2 scoring shots in front.
PATHETIC service indeed.
My investment would have won on West Coast.
What Sportsbet did is the cardinal sin of bookmaking.
THEY ARE FORTUNATE THAT I HAVE MADE SUBSTANTIAL PROFITS BETTING
IN THE RUN IN THE PAST and will continue to do so, otherwise i would give
them the flick.

Can't agree with you on this one Mal- do you want them to kepp betting until 11pm tonight?
I jumped on the Swans at 1/4 time ($2.85), was interested at the $4.50 at 1/2 time (had enough riding on them at that stage- I have a limit), noticed they were into $2.50 at 3/4 time.
Just appreciate the game for what it was Mal.

You must be joking Punk.
At half time the operator suggested instead of ringing up all the
time I should view the live betting odds on thier website.
They were betting all throughout the last quarter until the last
7 minutes, WHY ?
There was no inference on the site or by the operator that betting
would be ceased at any point of time.
113 minutes of foreplay and then the prick teasers stop

Mal- THEY HAVE TO STOP BETTING AT SOME POINT! Normally they only bet at 1/4, 1/2 & 3/4 time.
Think of what u gained today...

I have to agree with PUNK on this one MAL, i mean sportsbet only bet on footy games during the breaks not during the quarter. Its almost impossible for them to do, well stupid of them to do actually because a team can get 2 goals in absolutely no time at all so theres no chance for them to re-set the odds, they would just suspend betting.
it was a great game, i lost cash because im a desperate and backed sydney

Just fired off a scathing e-mail to TAB Sportsbet, demanding to know why I can't have a bet on the AFL GF at 10:15 tonight.

the bookies at footy park only bet at the breaks in games & sometimes they dont bother, so why is it the tabs fault if they stop betting with 10 minutes to go in a game ? i'm for one did not know they bet during a game , why do you have a crack consistently at some outlets & stick up for others ? if i didn't know better i would really think curly & supertab were your love children, be brave bet earlier

The situation of the game at 3/4 time was ??????
I could not pick the winner, thats why I did not put a bet on earlier.
The only instance I had thought a side could win was with 7 minutes
to go when WC led by 7 points....thats when RORTBET stopped betting.
I had bet during a quarter 3 times during the day, the
RORTBET should honour the battle by betting till the end.
THE OPERATOR AT HALF TIME TOLD ME THEY WERE BETTING THROUGHOUT THE GAME.
I am going to get RORTBET to play the tape back, I need clarification.

if the game had a 15 goal margin would you expect them to still bet on it ?

BAYMAN I would not expect them to bet if it was 15 goals the diff.
Give yourself a pat on the back for your righteous scenario.
My turn
If its between 1 point and 7 points for the whole last quarter after the first 14 seconds,
would you expect them to still bet on it ?

New TAB Rules
After hearing a disgruntled punter's grievances, UniTab now offers a new service whereby punters may get bets on 7 days after an event has finished. Therefore, UniTab will be betting on the AFL Grand Final for another 6 days.
West Coast $1.00
Sydney $101

Dont laugh Punk, it already happens on Betfair - people try to lay the swans at 1000-1 to see if some sucker might bite...!

Agree with MAL..... sportsbet are a complete unprofessional joke..... The odds would have been $0.98 and $101 if it was Sportsbet......RORTBET....
Seriously MAL my advise is to not punt with them.
