Was just thinking this morning, can't recall a less talked about or promoted Caulfield Cup before. Plenty of talk about the Everest in the last month or so, but you could be forgiven for thinking the CC had been cancelled this year.

He’s into 30th in the order of entry so still need another 6 to drop out to get a start.
He was looking a probable top 5 finish in the Caulfield Cup before getting poleaxed, no doubt he’ll get the 2 miles.

whats the chances of two dropping out given the winner of the Lexus jumps above it. Will it run in the Lexus itself?

Marmelo and another one are under injury cloud so may not run. However there are a couple going around at kyneton who may cop a weight penalty should they windaysofourlives wrote:Mr Beefy wrote:Spargo wrote:I’ve backed Sound at $301 & then a few times at $251 to win the Melbourne Cup.

Spend Sunday working my way through every race, in a comp at the pub where $50 gets you into a $1000 winner takes all.
Pick one in each race for the day, 3-2-1 for 1st-2nd-3rd, so Tuesday I'll be at work watching the first 7 races on my desktop then tear off to the pub by Cup time to watch the last 3 races there.
