Good fun.

From my rough calcs we will each get about $190 back. But will do a full exact summary later. If you could all start PMing me with your bank details that would be great.

Cheers

I had a decent Saturday but had to be careful not to lose my tickets, it was difficult as usually I do a few a safe trifecta's early to build a kitty and then open up a bit from about 3:30pm, I couldn't do that as I couldn't cash anything in.

I got a pleasant surprise yesterday when I took my tickets to the pub, I even vacated without buying a beer.

Could be worth having a punters club within the group.

I'm currently in one where there's 48 of us, we put $10 a week in from the start of Feb until the start of Dec, each punter has $240 to bet with and half gets banked, it's a nice little bonus a couple of weeks before Christmas.

If you win more than the $240 you keep going until you don't, if you win $0 it is a $10 fine.

There's some absolute banana's in the club and some are just banned from betting because they are literally too stupid, but they're fine with that.

Having a group with a bit of nous would make it worthwhile.

It's a pity none of the bookies (that Im aware of) are setup up for Punters Clubs' .. Sportsbet gave it ago for a while but it didn't work well and their staff had legitimately NFI how it worked, or how it was supposed to work.

Only way I think it could run would be for one member to control it and be across everything.

Im in 5 syndicates that mostly work similarly (1 is a bit different) and always happy to join them because it's a nice little Christmas club. Syndicates with an auto bank policy the best imho.

If anyone's keen to put their hand up and organise it though, I'd definitely be keen.

Sportsbet were banned because of the punters club fiasco.

They only just came off the banned list.

Jason Neave runs Punt Club.

No idea if its any good, never used it, not sure if there are fees or not, which site it is through (might be terrible odds, etc), but seems he's keen to bring in new syndicates as our club secretary has been getting bombarded by him with emails etc.

If you think it's worth looking into, contact details as follows:
jason@puntclub.com
www.puntclub.com
8120 4880
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!
