gdp,
overall a tough meeting & tread warily but here goes

r1 chances 1,2,3,5,6,9 in an open race, if the speed is on 9 would be a value e/w bet but thats an if, i'll be backing 5 e/w as i cant see it missing a place no matter how the race is run
r2 chances 2,3,4,5,7 the 3 should lead & go close while for dutchy 9 is a big lay from that draw
r3 chances 1,2,3,4,5,8 in a tough race
r4 another tough race everything except 9 could win i think 4 wont miss money for dutchy offer 500/1 the 9 & clean up
r5 well for those that backed the last last night allup no1 in this (rated1/3) it'll lead & win the 7 should run 2nd from the draw while 2 or 3 will run 3rd probably 2, the 2 couldn't beat the 1 last week & the 1 will be fitter this week so it couldn't reverse the result
r6 another tough race only 2 or 3 could not win i wouldn't be suprised if 5 led this & it would be big value then but best to stay out
r7 chances 2,6,7 with multi hopes to 1 (been dissapointing lately though),5 the value would be 6 as i think it'll cross & lead & if it does its a 5/4 chance i've rated it (7/4)
r8 chances 4,5,6 & 2 who has ability but doesn't seem to try in his races

suggested bet(s)

short but sweet

r5 no1 it'll lead & win

dutchy's lay of the night
r2 no9
& if you can get someone to nibble at
r4 no9 at 500/1 lay it as well NO HOPE

GOOD LUCK ON THE PUNT

thanks for the tips Bayman - going out tonight but will try to lay these as suggested - the winnings from The Upper Crust last night are buring a hole in my betfair pocket!

See you out there tonight boys; tips for the meeting

R1 - Very Open race, like the chances of 1,2,6,7,9
R2 - Speed burns happening here.. like the stongest of them 4, 5 and 7 as the winning hopes
R3 - 2 went very good last week and is hard to beat, along with 1,3,7 make up the chances
R4 - 2,4,6,7 the top chances and Bayman to get his bike out and beat the 9 (like he beat Lombo Madorja last week)
R5 - Easy quninella 1&7 - I know bayman and Mal love the 1 but I think 7 if $5 or better is great value..
R6 - 4 is the one here, should have won last start and is racing well, place chances to all except 2,3,6 and 2 probably shouldn't be racing in the pony trots it goes that slow.. if you offer $500/1 on Betfair about 9 in race 4 then offer $1000/1 about this one...
R7 - 7 should win (been going ok) and place chances to 1,2,5,6
R8 - Terrible race and don't bet in it.. have been backing the 4 though, so it might be the go

Good luck

Bayman's effort

Postby SCD » Sun Oct 08, 2006 1:19 am

Well thats ok - Bayman conned me into taking a boxed trifecta on the last at Globe.. given his efforts with Mouse during the week, I thought the man was on a roll...

Get the Favourite beat he says.. never in doubt it was going to win then, put in my $15 to get back $8....

Then to top things off Little Bayman was on the lawn beating up some other poor little kid.... must have been watching his dad and Damarell do business a few times me thinks!!
