KULPARA
-------------

Lovely day at Kulpara on Sunday, $3 beers , the BBQ and
straight track racing was fun for a change.
Proud State won its 8th win in a row over the 300m in a sizzling 16.2.
It was like being in a time warp and travelling back in time
to the outback in the 1950's.
The cup is on the 21/10 saturday meeting.
Greg Mcatee was the resident bookie and contributed to the splendour there.
Mt79 and I bumped into Carpy Bill who frequents the bush meeting, in
preference to saturday races.
Free pies and pasties later in the day, just a fun day.
Run by volounteers who did a good job.
The versatile Troy Gray was the race caller there.

DYNA UTAH
-------------
R6-9 Got a run tonight, Dutchys pet dog.
Had about 10 unplaced runs in a period of 3 weeks and was given a spell.
It was given a remarkable 14 day spell and resumed from this long spell
at Gawler on 3/10 and ran its best race in ages by running 4th beaten 3
lengths there....dare I say it[no I wont]

SPRINGVALE SNOW
------------------------

r10-7
Making its much eagerly anticipated debut at the 731m.
Its 600m form has been excellent with 2 wins from 3 starts.
The worry is its last 3 runs over the 600m in 7 days!
Now its buttering up over 731m. Ideal prep ?[maybe not ?]
The dog is handling the excessiveness and I will WATCH it run tonight.

PREVIEW
----------

R2-4 COLLESS QUEEN enourmous ability but extremely green, lets WATCH only.
3-8 SKULL MURPHY in terrific form go well.
r6-8 LANDOC is $10 in the press, looks a good EW bet, much improved dog.
r10-4 SPRINGVALE LUCY , throw in your trifectas.

Good luck

Springvale Snow - if short $1.40 or less I would suggest laying it - not convinced it will run out a strong 731m 1st up - usually takes these types of dogs a few runs ofver the distance to get their staying legs in...

Beaten at $1-40 was a risk as we thought
my tip Springvale lucy wins at $5-30 + $3 a place, great trifecta dog.
was heaving a very bleak night until that race.
The $185 tri helped me immensely[still down ]

DUTCHY was S/Snow tired from 4 hard runs over longer distances ?
or just didnt stay the 731 ?
Hope you layed it on Dutchfair.

yep only bet all night...or lay sorry!

risked 30 to win 70...

thought it went alright, although still a bit clumsy in a field which cost it the race tonight - although when Lucy finds the fence its hard to beat...my cousin would be happy - he part owns Lucy but didnt go into Snow ($10k purchase)

Good work Dutchy.
No doubt your mate will have a 'spring' in his step.
