Have a 7 leg multi going, first 6 legs have got up
Final leg is the Denver Broncos to win tomorrow @ $1.39
Original invest is $200 for a payout of $7791
Sportsbet have offered cash out $4131

Lose to the Saints and the Chargers

				2.5k on opposition at 3.14 = 7.85k collect
200 multi = 7.79k collect
outlay 2.7k
profit 5.1k (approx)
risk free!!!!!!!
or cash out now for 4.13k (risk free - but 1k less than above)....
Pain in the as getting BIG bet on. but worth it for an extra $1,000..... maybe call them first (speak to a TRADER) before you deposit. should be right if account not flagged.
*I would be opening Betfair and taking the $3.40-$3.50 plus there over next 24 hours

If my maths is right, you could just spend $2480 on the Browns guaranteeing a return of $7,791.
Net profit would be $5,111 which is $1000 better than the cashout offer?

				Betfair
Back opposition to have the same profit either way.
Back the opposition for a profit but keep the bigger profit with Denver who was your initial selection.
Just make sure you lock in a profit.

If you've got the means to back the Browns, do it, if not the game looks too close to ride that bet without any safety net. I've read about 6 previews and none of them are confident in the result.

The numbers from another grub look about right.
My only comment would be if you aren’t willing to let a bet like this ride, then you shouldn’t put the 7th leg in to begin with.
As others have pointed out, the cash out offer is roughly $1000 below doing it yourself.
But equally, doing it yourself is still effectively having a bet on each side and paying the bookies 5% vig.
Had you just stopped at 6 legs, the payout would have been $7,791/1.39 = $5,605, another $500 higher yet again!
Multis are terrible.
Same game multi’s I can somewhat accept as you can’t get on another way, but if you are putting on multi’s across several days and have a tendency to wimp out, you are crazy imo.
(Sorry, I know you were asking for advice, not a lecture, but cashing out really boils my blood).

If you do the manual cash out yourself, just make sure you are backing in the same market rules.
(Ie: if you have the multi on with the tab and they include extra time, but you back the layoff with Sportsbet and their market rules are based on the end of normal time and only pay out half returns for the draw) - purely an example, I have no idea what the market rules are for NFL with each of these bookies.

I'd say she was happy with the $300 return that Spargo netted

It’s $100 more than I would have given the missus
