ANImal WELFARE
--------------------

There will be a new ruling introduced 1/11/06 after
an issue with AniMAL welfare.
" A greyhound shall not be eligible to compete on consecutive days in SA with the exception of greyhounds that qualify for Semi Finals, Finals and two day coursing meetings."
MALS VERDICT
It could only happen in this state.

GRADING REVIEW PANEL
-----------------------------

The grading review panel will meet on 27/10/06.
I have one that should be scrapped.
Beat the grader was an inception brought in the last millenuim where a grade 5 dog is illegible to win 2 grade 5's in the same week.
Trainers try to take advantage of the ludicrous loophole by nominating dogs twice a week until the dog wins the first grade 5.
When the club introduced this ruling was when dog racing in this state disintigrated as we had an abundance of greedy , some incompetent trainers, who tried to expliot the ruling.
Dogs are over raced and the standard has recindered dramatically as a result.
Before the ruling trainers raced dogs weekly for about 3-4 weeks, gave them
a f/night off and then 3-4 weeks on again[and spells in between]
These days it seems the only spells dogs get is when injured!.[DYNA UTAH!!!!]

FESTIVE SPIRIT
-------------------

A Victorian dog in the powerhouse Jovanovic kennel ran last Thursday night.
It will be scratched tomorrow as the dog unfortunately fell last start at $1-70 favourite,
the dog is now DEAD, if anyone is wondering.

PREVIEW
-------------

r6-7 LASER FORCE was an incredible first up 29-41 winner last week[and tipped]
there is a lack of pace in this race and it looks the winner and an open grade dog soon.WIN

r7-2 BRANDEEN MICK came from last thursday and flashed home for a gutsy 2nd, this is
one dog that thrives on running 3 times a week, QUINELLAS/EXACTAS

r8-7 EDDIE DEWALT this is easier will go very close QUINELLAS/EXACTAS
r8-6 EVICTEE looks a place show as well

r9-2 LIQUID any luck wins this easily QUINELLAS/EXACTAS

r11-4 PODUIM DANCER was a huge run last week running 2nd good EW bet.

Good luck all, including BOONEY

Did the preview last night BOONEY and all my selections are
the favourites in the advertiser today, so not much value.
Like I say BAYMAN,MT79,SCD,MAL,DUTCHY and others can all do previews
but its then a matter of whether they are value or not.

Do the feMALe staff wear bras at the Cavan pub?

MDM

im not too sure of its time last night but the time it has run previous is good enough to win open graded races. whether or not it can handle being in a race with 7 other quality animals is yet to be seen but its times are good enough to suggest it wil be competitive
