just an update for the avid fans of DYNA UTAH from the premiership winning kennels of STEVE COLLINS the dog has drawn box 1 in race 7 tomorrow at DYNANGLE PARK at 12:12.

i hope that you all either tune in or rock up on course to watch the aniMAL have its 5th start in 16 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not much value but maybe an all up would be the way to go. im not having a bet myself.

2 - 7 Roo Montana would think this dog should be running a place

3 - 8 Gemstone Tina - thois dog has run good times in qualy's but in its only race start ran 7th at angle park. if it handles the field conditions it should win

4 - 2 Miss Armani will be short but should go close to winning

10 - 2 VAITY BALE - having its 5th run in 22 days and has early pace to gain a forward position

i think the Utah is a cert. it will start fav

and slowly it did go around today, jumped with them, was 4th on the fence going into the first turn, the rest of the field crowded down on it and it copped a check and then a few other bumps in the race, particularly by GOZO CHRIS, but it ran 7th or 8th in the end which is where it was expected to finish.

it may be in friday night somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in a field of 7 today at GAWLER DYNA UTAH with its vast racing experience couldnt manage to run a place!!!!!!!!!!!

im in complete and utter shock and this result may take a while to get over.

Began its career in Melbourne with trainer Ken Hunt 18/01/06
First run unplaced in a Meadows maiden.
First win 2/02/06 winning a Warnambool Maiden
Had about 15 runs in Melbourne before joining the dynamic Steve Collins kennells.
Had first run in SA 26/04/06 unplaced at Angle Park.
I think its had 39 starts after its Gawler run on 29/10/06
Its had 39 runs in about 188 days, average of 4.82 days between runs.
It has been scratched several times when reserve.
It has won 2 races in SA.
It was spelled 1/5/06 to 11/5/06
It was spelled 19/9/06 to 03/10/06
From memory the dog was injured both times when spelled.
The dog has never been spelled in its career in SA + VIC.

The champ has not been entered for the rest of the week is it alive ?

the most damning stat is the dog has averaged a run under every 5 days since it started racing!!! Unbelievable!

Imagine if it was not reserve several times.....

what about our other COLLINS special that ran every 3rd day, cant think of its name but it got bitten by a spider late september.

can you remember its name MAL??????

i reckon that if you studied all the WHEELER dogs the majority would have the same stat in terms of how often they are raced.
