ANGLE BARK 9/11/06 + greyhound gossip

STRATHALBYN DOGS
------------------------

A couple of trainers have told me they wont race dogs at the
southern track as the track is too hard, causing injuries.

SPRINGVALE SADNESS
----------------------------

Star SA sprinter/stayer SPRINGVALE SNOW hit the running rail interstate
and the dog may be in trouble surviving.
Reports are the dog is on a drip and distressed.
SPRINGVALE LUCY also damaged a leg[same night ?] and its racing career
is most certainly over.
No luck to connections ...... DUTCHY are these gossips accurate ?

TOY PRINCE
----------------

Not running. 6 runs in 14 days obviously was not enough.

TORRIFIED SPEED
---------------------

3rd change of ownership in about 6 runs
S. DAVIES/A. MARTIN and now W. SEBASTYAN
A .MARTIN had good fun its 4 runs were in 8 days [ dog has 1 win in 31 starts]
SEBASTYAN is a compassionate trainer who is likely to race the dog sparingly and might just improve on its 1 win.

GREYHOUND SEMINAR
-------------------------

Wednesday 15/11/06 6-30 to 9-30 Chasers Restaurant, free entry.
Seminar topics include Breeding, Vet and Nutrition issues,On line noms.,syndication and more.
Whoever wants to come MT79 + MAL will buy supper for them.

SA BRED GREYHOUNDS
---------------------------

110 Dogs including reserves, nominated for the 9/11/06 meeting.
21 Are SA bred.
Thats a blight on the industry.

PREVIEW
-----------

Tread warily, good but hard races.

r7-4 lay on BETFAIR = BRANDEEN NICK the dog has shoulder problems
r9-1 CHICK FLICK [the flick in capitals looks sus.] good PLACE bet.

MT79 will not be posting until next week , he will be in Melbourne to see Billy Joel.

Good luck

Yeah had a good night after an extra good day on the sporting punts.

Was alive into the last leg in AG also but nfg...I did lay off to get my outlay back by backing the 1 and 5 as I thought they were the only dangers.

Also Mal...its Jinx not Lucy thats injured...Jinx is the better one

Mal - what do you think of the new Hobart track? I like it, the greyhounds seem to give each other plenty of room and the turn is long and wide with a nice long straight for greyhounds that run on.

Also why only 3 dogs for the shootout next week at sandown? surely more than 3 dgos nominated?
