butler gets suspended

after what can only be described as incompetant garry butler got ONLY 6 weeks for his drive last night personally i would've given him 6 months minimum, for those that dont know he was on a horse that was behind the leader & used the sprint/cheat lane with one circuit to go & also for those that dont know you can only use it (the lane) on entering the straight on the final occaision.

now he is 'normally' a competant driver but this is why i say that at tab meetings there should be professional drivers held on retainers by sahrc ie at the gallops jockeys are professional the b.grade jockeys go bush & for those in the industry that dont like it they go to the non tab meetings & drive their horses there, after all it is an 'industry' that relies on revenue & people that saw/see things like that get turned off quickly the one thing in butlers defence is if they didn't have a cheat lane he would not have made that mistake but that is an arguement for another day
