Ran last weekend on Derby Day at Flemington.
Apparently got bitten by a snake up at Oakbank during the week and died.
Unfortunate for Philip Stokes, as this was a class horse on the way up!!!

Well its not racing. If the horse had to be put down due to a race or training mis-hap, then that might be racing, but a snake bite has nothing really to do with racing itself!!!

just stating the fact that anything can happen at anytime.... whats the difference if its a track mishap or paddock misshap .... result still the same.... THATS RACING!!!!

im with you AG its all a part of racing, as MDM is trying to suggest its not because its not on the track but racing does incorporate horses being spelled or allowed to run around in paddocks, just FOO did at angaston when he was racing.

anyone with half a brain MT79 would know there is a lot involved to getting a horse to the track..... it all comes under the banner of racing..... and the phrase 'thats racing'... if Freedman and Hayes can say it... it will do me..... who gives a shit what MDM thinks!!!

My horse broke its leg while in a race - I say "thats racing" but should have got MDM's approval first...apologies
