Folks,
Time for the Australian golf season to begin in earnest, and looks to be some value at this stage:
- Like Stephen Leaney at $31. Generally always around the mark, and has been in pretty reasonable form so far. John Senden is also great value at the $26 on offer, remembering he had a sound season in 2005-06, and has competed strongly on the US Tour this year.
- Suspect Adam Scott is a little short at the $6 on offer, he generally takes a tournament or two to find his feet back in Australia, so may steer clear at those odds. Not even for sentimentality stake should you back Greg Norman at the $81 on offer - this should be closer to $801. He will struggle to make the cut.
- For some value in head to head multi: O'Hern/Pampling - O'Hern at $1.85/ Baddeley/Lonard - Lonard at $1.95/ Senden/Estes - Senden at $1.80/ Nathan Green/Richard Green - N. Green at $1.85; Total odds - $12.02 represents great value.
For a cross sport multi; have taken Adelaide 36ers to beat West Sydney at $1.22 into Leaney to win at $31 - odds of $37.82, with the savers of West Sydney at $3.80 into Leaney to win at $31 at odds of $117.82.
Best of luck, folks!

Lonard @ $1.95 to beat Baddeley @ $1.85 in the head to head.
Baddeley is an up himself little snot while Lonard is one of the most accurate iron players around.
Get on him.....

Folks, just noticed the ideal option for one point I made: Greg Norman - will he make the cut ($1.55) or not ($2.30).
$2.30 is a gift and well worth the investment.

Honestly don't like to say it but I think you will be proven correct perce.
I will sit on the fence a bit and say Pampling is good value at 5.00 for the place and enormous talent Paul Sheehan at 9.25 for the place.
Sheehan is a far better player than he is given credit for and was one of our recent promotions to the main US Tour for the 2007 season.

From the files of "You shouldn't kick a man while he's down", you'd also have to really like Steven Bowditch at 2.30 to miss the cut given his horror year on the USPGA Tour and his recent publicised battle with depression.

he's travelling well at this stage at -1, only 4 shots behind the leader

Well - wouldn't mind if they stopped the tournament now for the head to head multi: O'Hern at +1, Pampling +5/ Lonard -1, Baddeley +5/Senden +4, Estes +5/N.Green -5 (leader), R.Green -3.
Hope a few punters took the lead so far of Norman missing the cut at the $2.30.
Still a way to go of course, but encouraging start.
Added a couple of Aus Open/LPGA Championship multis this morning: N.Green (Aus Open) into Paula Creamer at $105; Nick O'Hern/Annika Sorenstam at $51; Geoff Ogilvy/Cristi Kerr at $150. Getting a run for the money at least so far!
Lonard all the way

I told you Lonard would beat Baddeley......hope a few got on him. If he's within a few shots of the leader at the end of the 3rd round he's the man. Very solid golfer and fantastic pressure player.....
Cheers

well the SHARK is battling away to make the cut, after looking completely out of it in the first round he has battled away in the second round and with players dropping shots all around him and the cut being higher all the time is a chance to sneak in...........

Yes looks as if the Shark is safe..... hopefully N Green drops a shot or two over the last holes...

(Pampling just sneaks in, but 7 shots behind O'Hern)/ Lonard -1, Baddeley +5

(Lonard 1 shot ahead at half way mark)/Senden +4, Estes +5

(Estes misses cut) /N.Green -5 (leader), R.Green -3

(N.Green two shots clear at halfway mark).
Hope a few punters took the lead so far of Norman missing the cut at the $2.30

(Norman sneaks in with birdie on last hole - at least he has made it though - good for him!).
Still a way to go of course, but encouraging start.
Added a couple of Aus Open/LPGA Championship multis this morning: N.Green (Aus Open) into Paula Creamer at $105

(Creamer three shots off lead after first round) ; Nick O'Hern/Annika Sorenstam at $51

(Quite surprising, this one - Sorenstam 6 shots off lead) ; Geoff Ogilvy/Cristi Kerr at $150

(Kerr five off lead after first). Getting a run for the money at least so far!
At least all are still alive so far - hard getting them past the cut sometimes!
