Just to keep within your rules Punky I wont mention how much I won on Makybe Diva.

Only future bets I currently have are:

Tottenham Hotspur $5 @ $50 to win the Premier League
Adelaide 36ers $5 @ $12 to win the NBL
Cincinatti Bengals $10 @ $21 to win the NFL (yeah I know, no chance in hell)

Good call, unfortunately most of my bets are made with the heart and not the head, I would have been 9 grand richer if a North/Geelong double had occured in 2005! Whoops Im talking about past bets again, sorry Punky!

Whats the absolute best odds you can get on the Bays to make the top 5..?
Then the odds on them to make the top three..?
The right odds might be worth a bit of a dabble......

A lazy $10 on Marty Mattner to win the 2006 Brownlow @ $200/1.

Senden is a solid bet at $26 I reckon spider and I always like Craig Parry at this venue, regardless of his incoming form, who is paying $21.

As a roughie I would pick Chris Downes at $251.

LMFAO,sorry rd,but do you get votes for tackling now?

You certainly do get votes for tackling these days - Mattner was equal first in the count in 2005 after Round 4 and finished up with 9 for the season. With Goodwin,Roo,McLeod,Edwards all near veteran stage, if the Crows have another good year in 2006, it will be because players like Mattner & Thompson have stepped up. Plus - who cares about $10 now and think of the bragging rights I'll have for the rest of my life should Mattner get up!!

Be pretty impressive bragging rights I'd say rd!! Reckon Scott Thompson would be worth a look for the Crows though - faded a little as the season went on in 05, but should see more midfield action this year, as Riccuito and McLeod wind down their full time midfield roles.

AFL Brownlow - Steve Johnson (Geelong) is good value at $101. IF he stays fit the whole year, will get a good run for your money.
Like Martina Hingis at $41 in the Australian Open. Yes, it's been a long time since she's played and probably deserves to be long odds, but have an exceptional record in Australia. The women's singles are often a lottery if some top seeds go by the third round and she could be a real smoky if she hits her stride.

AAAAhhhhhh..... Women's tennis. nearly all matches in the first ten days of a grand slam are 6-0 6-1 , 6-2 6-1 or something similar. Absolute joke that these unfit prima donnas think that they should get equal prizemoney as men. They already get more than they should due to the fact that Mens and Womens slams are run concurrently. If Women's slams were run as stand alone events they wouldn't even generate enough revenue to get the money they get now. They should also have to play best of five sets as well, even though it would only increase the duration of most of their matches by 20 minutes.

I'm getting on Sam Mitchell at $61 for the Brownlow next year...

He is a votegetter, here's to an injury free 06.

Im with ya MG - Ive got a rising star signed framed poster of Sam Mitchell that will treble in value if he wins the Brownlow!
