Betfair

Does anyone have a "refer & earn code"? As I'm about to join up....

hypothetically, if you were the owner of an odds on shot, you could lay it for a big amount on betfair and take steps to ensure it does not win (as any owner would know there are more ways to lose than to ensure it will win).
how the hell can this be regulated by stewards??
what are everyone's thoughts??

the big difference is that it is much harder to win than it is to lose

our_longreach wrote:they are all good points mal, but with a revolutionised betting systems, such as laying a horse or dog, we will also need a revolutionised governenance system (eg stewards, etc.) otherwise we will find ourselves in the middle of major bet fixing rings and the like.
for example, going back to the laying of a horse, do stewards have the ability (or agenda) to trace bets against a odds on pop through betfair. if the answer is no, then there is a serious flaw in the system and an avenue for cheating.
