Hi Folks,

After a total of $12 spent for a return of $40 on the Aus Open and Masters, will let some of this roll into the NZ Open Golf now. Only seems like small fry, but then again - the old adage; doesn't matter how good the odds are if you don't get 'em up.

Will try a few cross-sport multis, as well as some head to heads in this: taking the $28 profit, with a view to spending only $8 on this one, to lock in half the profits.

- Really like Michael Long at the $61 on offer. Good record generally in the Shaky Isles, and he represents great value. Will take a cross sports here: NBL Basketball - NZ to beat West Sydney ($1.16), into Townsville to beat Singapore ($1.20) into Long - total odds of $84.91. Will, however, throw a saver of West Syd at the $4.75 (they are not too far from a BIG upset in a game soon) into Townsville/Long - odds of $461.70.

- Suspect a roughie will get some low scores in this one, and Tony Carolan at the $201 represents sound value - just had one bad round in the Masters on the back 9 of the last round. Take him into an English Premier League multi: Man U to beat Everton - $1.28/Chelsea to beat Bolton - $1.63/Liverpool to beat Portsmouth - $1.40 into Carolan at the $201 - odds of $587.11

To balance this, however, will take Richard Green at the $11 into the same EPL games at odds of $32.13.

Head to head: N.Green/O'Malley - GREEN at $1.87/D.McGrane/N.Doughety - MCGRANE at $1.85/Chopra/Stadler - CHOPRA at $1.80/Chalmers/Rumford - CHALMERS at $1.80 - total odds of $11.21: $3 on this to win $33.63

Good luck folks!

You'd have to think Campbell on NZ soil would be a good bet.

Well, Michael Long goes into tomorrow 4 shots adrift in one of the closest final rounds in a tournament for a while. Not often that 39 players will go in within 5 shots of the lead.

A last minute decision to take a multi of Chelsea to win last Thurs into Damien Mcgrane at $82 has at least given some interest into things. The multi of Jim Furyk to win the Nedbank into Greg Chalmers in the NZ at $38.50 also makes the last round interesting.

Gale force winds set to gust up further tomorrow will make the last round fascinating - good luck folks! (for what its worth, I would say Michael Campbell does not represent value at $4 - he is better when in front and struggles to reel in from behind)
