SYSTEMS AND STAKING IDEAS!!!!!!!!!!

Postby mighty_tiger_79 » Mon Dec 04, 2006 10:38 am

well folks, im going to think of a couple of systems to use on the gallops and also 3 or 4 different staking plans. Ill be trailling these for 12 months starting from January 1st.

Ive come up with some rules for my system and some ideas on staking. Ill put them down and if anybody has any other ideas please feel free to write them. Ill use each of the 3 or 4 staking plans on each system to see where the best results come from.

system rules ive thought of so far

Horse unplaced last start beaten less then 3 lengths

Distances - races upto 1600m allow 200m either side.
races beyond 1600m allow 400m up and 200m back.

Horse 15% win and 80% place strike rate with a min of 10 starts

Horse must settle no worse then 5th - 8th in races and be in the first 4 on the home turn

Been placed at track and distance

Handle current track conditions - if track conditions change dramatically from friday to sat then the horse must be able to handle new conditions

top of tipsters poll - with a min of 5 tipsters.

Beaten fav previous start

only saturdays and major race days

apprentice jockeys not allowed!!!!!!

horse racing upto 1600m last start must have been within 22 days

Horse racing 1600m + last start 15 days

STAKING

PLAN 1

1) invest 10% of bank on selection and go 2% win and 8% place
2) if 2 selections then go 1%win and 3% place with 1% on quinella and exacta

PLAN 2

EITHER THE whole 10% of bank WIN or PLACE

PlAN 3

to incorporate with the above two plans is to allow 1% of bank for all-ups if 2 or more races selected at the same venue.

AG

what i meant was those are rules i have come up with, but i havent made any specific systems out of them yet.

Obviously some of those rules contradict themselves.

Im just trying to come up with as many different ideas and different ways to analyse form to create a system to see what happens.

If i put all those rules in one system i wouldnt bother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

here's an old one from the 4o's
on the dogs there are 8 boxes.
usually 10 to 12 races.
it is maths that at least 1 box will repeat.
after the first race start backing the previous winning boxes.
check results it usually appears from race 2 to race 6.
you need to adjust your stake for various prices but it is like dutching your bet.
it is harder when the winner is skinny a bigger outlay but magic when it's an outsider.
once hit you take the profit.

this can be done for all dog meetings.
it gets bit harder the more meetings but can be done.
i do it regularly.
it does work but requires work. i have sheets made up for each meeting and check them off
good luck

forget the gallops, do what you know, the dogs , didn't you tip a 20/1 winner there the other night ?

plans/systems all have faults & the best advice that anyone can get is DONT CHASE WHEN LOSING (yes i've been guilty of chasing as well) wait intil you like something whether it be on the day or later on in the week, month etc
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

BAYMAN how dare you insult my new SAFOOTY mate ROOBURGER.
They had greyhound racing in the USA in the 1920's, first mechanical lure races.
In tha period Al Capone opened up a dog track !!!

MAY 28 1927 they started greyhound racing in NSW
So ROOBURGERS system may have been used then.

Thanks for your system ROOBURGER
