$100,000 in sight!

Over the last four racing seasons, Ebanc Trade Paceway has given away almost $90,000 in petrol bonuses, stallion services, increased stakemoney, trophies, rugs, lucky stall incentives and special encouragement gifts for those that have been at the wrong end of a race and much more!

Our main focus has been on the industry participants and will remain so for the coming season. The club is proud of its continued efforts in supporting our clients and is rapidly closing in on the $100,000 mark from limited meetings.

Once again the popular, dual code Harness-Greyhound meeting will be conducted at a Christmas meeting on December 17, giving an action packed Sunday’s entertainment.

The joint meetings have not only been popular with enthusiasts of both codes, but also very successful for both clubs over many seasons.

Two feature races programmed for the upcoming meeting will be the Burnie McCue Memorial Trotters Cup and the Happy Haldon Rosebowl. Both races will have trophies and associated rugs.

Tradelink will again be holding its annual Christmas show on course.

Hopkins Saddlery will have lucky stall gifts throughout the day, petrol bonuses for all unplaced runners will be awarded thanks to Adelaide Fuel Distributors and bottles of Bleasdale Wines will console those that have the misfortune to run last.

EBanc Trade, Hopkins Saddlery, Adelaide Fuel Distributors and Bleasdale Wines will sponsor the meeting.

The Bede Ireland designed half-mile track with the only transitional bends in South Australia has had some attention thanks to curator Colin Gilgen that will ensure fast times on the day. Along with a complete overhaul of the on course video system, tote screens and complete re-build of the PA system further upgrading the premises in conjunction with the Southern Greyhound Raceway, keeps the club’s infrastructure updated, if and when TAB racing resumes.

The usual home style country catering will be a treat for those on course with the local bakery supplying home made pies and pasties. Kids will be entertained with a face painter and the special appearance of Father Christmas with free lollies and ice creams.

There is something for everyone at the Ebanc trade Paceway, with an old style family fun day on picturesque lawns taking in the exciting harness racing. Don’t miss out on the action, and get trackside on December 17.

well here is a quick glance for sundays doggies.

11 races, these will be adjusted of course as some of these are running tonight.

1 - 6 obstetrix, best dog but may not be suited to the 319m. ran 3rd at $2.90 place

2 - 7,8 lack of depth here, the 7 Lee's the quay looks winner. it went well yesterday and the connections think highly of it. and 8 looks the next best. 8 ran 2nd and 7 no-where

3 - 6 then even field. if the 6 Nanny Cook was good odds, its backable otherwise a race to watch or do the form for the next trot race. 6 ran 2nd $1.70 place was $7 win

4 - 1 Stellar Red well boxed and should punch through along the rails to figure in the finish got the cash!!!!!!!$5.50 $1.60
5 - 6 white kangaroo 1 qualy start for a win in 32:05 not quick but quicker then the rest. got the cash!!!! $3.20 $1.10

6 - 5 Snake Indeed looks the winner its form is better then the rest unplaced

9 - 7,6,4 7 Le Affair is a dog with plenty of ability, its a good beginner and should be right in the finish. 6 Unique Lee ran yesterday morning and went ok at $16 only got run down on the home turn. Doesnt like turns but may be suited to strath with its long straights. 4 - Homing Pigeon also went good yesterday ran good time and did have luck in getting through the field. got the ttri here if boxed up my selections and UNique Lee won at $9!!!!!!!!!!

10 - 6 - imperial power goes well at track/distance. 4 can be there as its not a tough race. the 4 got the cash and the 6 unpplaced.

11 - 4 Bank Sumatra loves this track!!!! 5 Lofty heights was well supported at its last start at strath didnt have a lot of luck but can be placed here. lofty heights placed $3.60 behind the JACK

the lowdown on the kennel.
race 4 stellar liz our best chance of the day but is rated below no 1,7 they are quicker
our other dog Tubud is a hard railer so box 8 looks to have shot our chances with this dog again.
race 7 riverlee gal rated 4th at best looking to ending her career soon going to adop program.
race 11 blizzard jack, best dog in kennel but coming back from injury and drawn poorly in a short race. but could sit behind on the first turn as he jumps about a length late has been trailing very well though.
there it is no strong chances but a couple of eachways at best.
i'll be there cheering them on. :P :P

:)
a nice day at strath with an above average crowd due to tradelink xmas show.
bookie was tight  but some nice overs to be had on the tote.
beer still $3 a can and good selection with a nice steak sand for $4 includes egg.
trotting gate was open so no paying the admission or roll down the hill needed.
some solid racing with only a few favs getting up.
the strath specialist got most of the prizes.
good day capped of with the jack getting up!
next meeting dec 31st
