STRATH SUNDAY dual meeting + tips and news

$100,000 in sight!
Over the last four racing seasons, Ebanc Trade Paceway has given away almost $90,000 in petrol bonuses, stallion services, increased stakemoney, trophies, rugs, lucky stall incentives and special encouragement gifts for those that have been at the wrong end of a race and much more!
Our main focus has been on the industry participants and will remain so for the coming season. The club is proud of its continued efforts in supporting our clients and is rapidly closing in on the $100,000 mark from limited meetings.
Once again the popular, dual code Harness-Greyhound meeting will be conducted at a Christmas meeting on December 17, giving an action packed Sunday’s entertainment.
The joint meetings have not only been popular with enthusiasts of both codes, but also very successful for both clubs over many seasons.
Two feature races programmed for the upcoming meeting will be the Burnie McCue Memorial Trotters Cup and the Happy Haldon Rosebowl. Both races will have trophies and associated rugs.
Tradelink will again be holding its annual Christmas show on course.
Hopkins Saddlery will have lucky stall gifts throughout the day, petrol bonuses for all unplaced runners will be awarded thanks to Adelaide Fuel Distributors and bottles of Bleasdale Wines will console those that have the misfortune to run last.
EBanc Trade, Hopkins Saddlery, Adelaide Fuel Distributors and Bleasdale Wines will sponsor the meeting.
The Bede Ireland designed half-mile track with the only transitional bends in South Australia has had some attention thanks to curator Colin Gilgen that will ensure fast times on the day. Along with a complete overhaul of the on course video system, tote screens and complete re-build of the PA system further upgrading the premises in conjunction with the Southern Greyhound Raceway, keeps the club’s infrastructure updated, if and when TAB racing resumes.
The usual home style country catering will be a treat for those on course with the local bakery supplying home made pies and pasties. Kids will be entertained with a face painter and the special appearance of Father Christmas with free lollies and ice creams.
There is something for everyone at the Ebanc trade Paceway, with an old style family fun day on picturesque lawns taking in the exciting harness racing. Don’t miss out on the action, and get trackside on December 17.
