$33 million who is interested

Postby bayman » Thu Dec 14, 2006 6:02 pm

with the x-lotto jackpot draw in 2-3 weeks time is there any interest in getting a syndicate together to do a system entry in the hope of winning the big one ??

system meaning boxing up of numbers

if this happens i say we do it with a easypick option rather than any arguements over which numbers to pick

& all that is envolved know the numbers beforehand & paid up beforehand as well

so is there any interest

& who is going to be treasurer ? ( i suggest punk)
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

costs of systems

Postby bayman » Tue Dec 19, 2006 7:11 pm

system 8 $15.00
system 9 $45.15
system 10 $112.90
system 11 $248.40
system 12 $496.75

& obviously it gets dearer as you take more numbers

depending on how many are confirmed in & how much they want to spend, that would determine which system we take etc ie if we took a system 12 & 10 people all took equal shares it'd be just under $50.00 each but someone may want 1/2 that & spend $25.00 & some else take 1.5 shares etc etc (if there is 10 shares & someone has a half share they get paid that half share if we win )

so lets work it out over the next few days as the draw is on saturday week (who is in & how much your putting in etc etc)

lets get organised

Now, I'm not totally familiar with all the rules and probabilities involved in lotto, but...

isn't entering a syndicate in a $33 million draw roughly equivalent to making a single entry in one of the regular lotteries :?: :?: :?:

not really if for arguements sake we did a system 10 it = 210 games, s11= 462 games, s12 =924 games.

i dont know the exact number but if we got 4 numbers you get paid out 4 numbers for numerous times i got 4 numbers on a system 10 a while ago & got back almost $1,600.00 as i got 3 & the supp plus 4 numbers so there is no doubt if we got to 3 & the supp we'd make a profit c'mon ecky you were too tight to back mouse & paid the penalty you wouldn't want to pay the penalty with 6 numbers would you ?

Very true, there Bayman.

But there is skill involved in backing Mouse, but this is pure luck. And with the percentages even worse than playing the pokies, I'm not really tempted, sorry.
