731 METRE RACES
---------------------

They are exciting races beacuse dogs dont have to lead to win.
Unfortunately we only have a 5 dog field in the 731 m race.
Could have been worse, one of the dogs is a border raider from Victoria !
This is very disappointing and will they be in jeopardy ?

ANGLE PARK AREA
---------------------

The area is a well known lower echelon western suburb.
Drug dealers
Prostitutes
Racial tensions
Poverty
Car thieves
etc.

Now the neighbourhood has reached its lowest ebb, there is a BP service
station opened on South Road near the corner of Cardigan Street.
I say lowest ebb because they have opened up a SUBWAY in the servo.
Thats as low as you can get serving that crapp.

i think the 731m races are in real trouble here, but so are the 600m races.

the club made more 600m races available for trainers as a stepping stone on the way upto the 731m races, the only problem is that a lot of the dogs havent progressed upto the 731m.

JUMBO FORREST has had to be retired due to the fact that there arent enough noms for 600m racing and he gets put back into the 1/2/3 sprint races where he isnt racing as well.

its a shame to see the 731m races disappear as generally the best dog will win the race.

600m is similar but a bad box and a bad beginning out of the boxes on the turn can see the best dogs get put out of business.

yesterday at mangle park they had the launch of the summer carnival.

they are introducing a mock fashions on the field and promoting wearing thongs, boardies etc.
there was an article in the paper yesterday as well about it.

from late december to end of january any $3 or more bet on an AG race can go in the draw for $10 grand!!!!!! ill have a few entries in that!!!!!!!!!!!
