TOY PRINCE
--------------

A truly remarkable story one to touch real greyhound fans.
This dog as mentioned was going around 3 times a week and MT79
and I noticed that it raced 7 times in about 23 days at one stage and was a hack.
The prevoius trainer has been suspended for an indiscretion.
The new trainer was C F Irwin based at Two Wells.
I had a chat with Mr Irwin at Gawler and said
MAL " Ive noticed your dog is going better for you than the previous trainer and I
have noticed a change in training methods."
IRWIN. " Ive been training for 40 years and the only way to train dogs is to race them
weekly with a 2 week break after 3-4 runs."
MAL " Yeah its working well done........."

TOY PRINCE FORM GUIDE

2ND[6] GAW 28 NOV
2ND[7] GAW 05 DEC
3RD[1] GAW 12 DEC
1ST[7] GAW 19 DEC
3RD[5] GAW 02 JAN

What a form reversal this dog ran about 1 place in its last 10 starts.
Irwin with old fashioned SMART training has had 5 placed runs with 1 win.

PROUD AND FREE
--------------------

The dog we mentioned was for sale wins again at Gawler.
Toy Prince ran 3rd in the same race.

MORE FUN LESS FASHION
------------------------------

A good promotion by the AGRC , the campaign is to attract younger people on course
with the emphasis on rolling up in very casual attire.
The campaign runs from Dec 27 to an 25 which is Adelaide Cup night.

PREVIEW TAKE NOTE another grub
-----------......................................

Too many races with Interstate dogs over, so not many races to tip into

R8-8 MISS GRUB is my good thing to run in the placings and WIN is a good bet.
He will be last tailed off but watch it SWOOP in the last 150 metres.
The only danger is the [7] MISS COLUMBIA which is a brilliant stayer.
If they all get a clear run MISS GRUB will win.

This is the National Distance Championship and the prizemoney will be donated
to Interstate hounds AGAIN.
At least next year we will have our SA bred stayer BLIZZARD JACK to keep em' honest.

cheers,
MAL

Dutchy, how about thanking FIGMal too?
He provided you with not only the quinella, but also a dog that paid $1.00 for the win, & $1.00 for the place.
And using an old Messiah Tiger 79 adage- "everytime you win you don't lose"!!!!

This is a Punk Rooster adage-

Everytime time you back a $1 winner, you make F**K ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL - every punter worth his salt loves to see his $50- strapped to the back of a $1-00 winner...its all about the rush not the profits

Thank f..k MISS GRUB did not start 1-90 or less.
Then it would have paid $0-95 or less

Then the new MAL adage would be
" Everytime you win you could lose."

So far lads I have not tipped a loser in 2007[trots+ dogs]
3 bets
$1-60
$1-40
$1-00 [but I did tip into the quinella]

So far MESSIAH 79 has not tipped a loser in 2007
3 bets
$2-30
$2-00
$6-40

2007 PENNIES FROM HEAVEN =D>

Bayguruman also says "it's better than bank interest"

Punk Rooster says "when backing $1 winners, bank interest is better!"

actually mal with unitab the only thing they do to help punters is that their divs can't be less than $1.00 so if you back a horse/dog at 1.80 & it dead heats you get 1.00 & not 90c you should   bewildering to me, mind you they screw you with everything else like 2 late scratchings in a 8 horse/dog field & all of a sudden it is a 2 div race

$1-00 for a dead heat was a good guarenteed return.
Good rule by Unitab
