Good day racing, except all the different callers (like H Donaldson) - be careful with 1609m starts... it's only 40 - 50m to the first turn, so inside horses are the go...
R1 - 3 looks classes above, for place take 1,2,8,9
R2 - Don't know a lot about them, but on the little form there is, 3 and 6 are the ones from 2,5 all can run a place though
R3 - 2 and 8 on top, 3,5,7,9 and possibly 6 a place
R4 - 8 looks a great e/w bet (G Sugars = gold) so take it from 1,2,4,6,10
R5 - 8 on top from 7 and for a place take 5,6,9
R6 - 2,3,8 on top from 4,6 and maybe 7 filling a 3rd place
Suggested Bets
R1 - 3 w
R4 - 8 e/w
R5 - 7+8 in quins or 7 a place
Betfair tips
R4 - 6 will be well under the odds and barrier 6 over 1609.. would want to be good

i thought that HILTON would clear the place out and scare the tourists out of VICTOR and neighboring places.

A mate of mine, who is a very astute punter (loves Moonee Valley) declared Lenny Bromac the bet of the century to me last night- I didn't get on though (was busy doing stuff), & he rang me after to tell me how disappointed he was with it. He said it was flat & gave nothing- I suggested the travel/heat may have taken the wind out of it's sails.

Your mate sounds like he knows what he is talking about -- mind you the drive on lenny was a disgrace, should never have come off the fence.. but still can't complain - there's money to be made today!!

I went to Victor last Friday for the TDU and on the way home popped through to have a look at the new track, very impressive, cambered turns (does GDP have this?)...one thing that suprised me was the viewing area looked ordinary, should have a big grassy mound along the straight like GDP to mae it a tru picnic atmoshpere for the Sunday meets....why wouldnt they put lights there and make it our No. 2 track considering its 1000m????
