well it looks both a very ordinary meeting and a tough one as well

1 - 2 Battle cruiser passes a FTP trial in good time and it should be in the finish here

4 - 7 lazaridis (named after the former birmingham star!!!!!!) has early pace and should find the front here. its a NTD race with only 7 starters so i would only back it if it was good e/w odds and mainly place.

7 - 3 WINDEX on times it has to figure and could be nice e/w odds, one for the exotics

8 - tough race with 3 dakota bird a good chance here has won 3 from 4 and drawn well. 6Wild Hound was a last start beaten fav so respect, has ok form to be running a place.
8 Causeway is coming back from the 643m but I think it can be in the finish and is well drawn.

9 - 2 Seargent Pepper well this looks to be the bet of the day as on form it has to win

11 - 7 MALS DOG - TOY PRINCE is in super form since the dog is allowed to race once a week and sometimes once a fortnight. going well and can run a place at e/w odds.

i would suggest that a few of you wishing to meet MONEY MAL, mighty BAYMAN etc get to GAWLER early and get your seat in the grandstand as it will be PACKED OUT once those 2 sit in there.

Wouldnt it be great to have MAL signing autograhs and Dyna Utah giving out paw prints! that will get the kiddies back to the track, who needs Fred Basset!!!

talking about autographs, i remember when mal & i travelled to morphettville for the adelaide cup & somehow he got tickets to go into the committee room, so there we were (with no ties on) & in comes kylie minougue with her entourage & a couple of kids got in & asked for an autograph & mal quick as a flash grabbed their paper & started to sign when the kids said no not you i want kylies autograph (kylie thought mal was funny i'm ) she seemed down to earth
