After lashing out on a pre-series Inter Dom multi of Smooth Crusa/Whatsundermykilt at the odds of $50 and rueing it is now about $152, have turned attentions to the tennis.

What will everyone be on here? Can Nadal topple Federer, or is the world No. 1 over the line?

The females look very, very open indeed...can sense an outsider here for sure.

For what its worth, will work around Federer, Tomas Berdych ($41), James Blake ($21)and one or two others in the men, with Sharapova ($3.25), Hingis ($17), Jankovic ($11 - very, very, very well worth a look at that) and maybe Safina in the women's..although Molik DOES appeal at the $67 on offer.

I think the best method is back a roughie in the mens and if they get through a couple of rounds lay off for a profit...might wait until the draw comes out as you dont want your roughie playing federer in 1st round!!!

might put on a couple of doubles with federer winning....but basically tennis bores me

Alright, personally not a big fan of tennis, alright to play but boring to watch...but its a good sport to punt on and for an interest Ive gone these tourney bets -

Federer/Clijsters Double @ $5.68
Murray/Clijsters Double at $100-

and going to try some trading on the tourney (first time for me on tennis)

Bet 1 - A Murray to win Aussie Open
$30- on @ $38- to return $1,140-

Looking at his draw which is excellent he should make the 1/4's where he would face Nadal, the opportunity would be then to lay off for a profit, although Nadal has some injury concerns so may get upset on his way to the 1/4's...lets see how this plays out and if I can lock in a profit...

Hate to say it, Dutchy, but I follow the tennis quite closely, and wouldn't expect Murray to go past the quarters at best. Yet to meet a really big server here, which will be his undoing. I would look very seriously at Blake at the $17 on offer in the men's...a genuine chance of getting to the final. On a very hot day, could really bring about Federer's undoing.

The women's is going to schedule at this stage, but Mauresmo looking good at the $5.00 on offer. Well worth a double, these two.

Perce = I dont think you read the post...i dont expect hm to win it, he has an easy draw until the 1/4's were he would face Nadal, at that satge I would lay off for a profit

With all due respect why would you back Blacke at 17's???? you can get $32- elsewhere, nearly double....also Mauresmo is $5.90 elsewhere...dont fall for the PUNITAB trap

well ive had a look at the second round mens games and i come up with a selection that I think is a good bet. DUTCHY has also found it in his multi

SEBASTIAN GROSJEAN, i got $2.30. not sure what he did in round 1 but I wasnt impressed by his opponent ROCCHUS against Guccione when it went to 5 sets.
