victorian punters get knocked back

Postby bayman » Fri Jan 12, 2007 9:06 pm

well tonight (i did not go) the victorian punters over here for the inter, arranged last week with thornton to get 10c over what the tote pays at the auditorium, as seal wont bet on the sa trots as apparently dammarell has asked them (seal) not to, so last week they (the punters) cleaned them up & this week refused to bet them at all

if it were my business i'd be trying to get it back rather than cut the losses
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

i'm not sure if i worded it right but its thornton that wouldn't let them on last night & seal does not bet on the sa trotts because 'alledgedley' dammarell has asked/demanded they dont bet on them, apparently it keeps punters away from the track !! :? :? :?

that keeps me away from the auditorium not the track

& if dammarell bet a decent % he would more than likely see more people at the track, if you saw his markets at pirie last week you'd be amazed they all were over 200 % & by the time the race started down to around 150/160%

the trott last monday he opened with a 300+ % :? :? :? :?

Dammarell is a joke - like I said.. sitting at globe about 6 - 8 weeks ago on a Monday a very smart man sat there and picked what Dammarell's odds would be before they were put up and the market was 250 - 300 each time.. disgraceful starting market.. I reckon I could give better odds for both the bookie and the punter...

Just like at Moonee Valley day meeting 2 mondays ago - 2 bookies For this exercise - Call one Seal and the other Dammarell (aka Barry Baker) - well I watched 3 races in a row where Dammarell (aka Baker) put up odds on all runners a couple of points less then Seal.. it was really quite funny because he got no business all day!!
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined
