well today had it all, we had heated arguements at the stalls, we had three plunges 1 successful two not, well in the 3rd the trainer back his horse e/w at 5/1, $5000/1000 e/w (no10), in the run when they settled he took off & went to the lead & was run down by 3 others in the straight to end up 4th, & in the stand the trainers son was going off to his father & was in his ear complaining about the drive etc on the trip back to the stalls, i was helping chris laird with his horse which was about 8-10 horses from this horse when they (dad & son more so the son)opened up to david harding in at least a 5 minute verbal abuse & as it got really heated, other trainers, one steward & on lookers tried calming the situation down which they eventually did.

i for one did not think that horse could win but when it got to the front i then thought it could, i think the drive was good but the horse not good enough

so that plunge came unstuck as did the plunge in race 8, no2 was backed from 13/1 into 4/1 (it is & went like a cat) so dammarell got the cash twice, but inbetween those two we had race 7.

in race 7 the first starter who i found out about at the track thanks to the owner ben mc it opened up with dammarell at $2.20 i had my $400 on it & ben had his $1500 on it at the same price which shortened to $1.70 when sam had $2,000 on it in a nod bet it went to $1.40, dammarell did use his phone & backed it somewhere but i cant see how he layed it off though to cover his losses

i hope all did well on the punt

I know the two you are talking about - they prance around and it obvious to all when they are "on the job" - but to be perfectly honest with you the stable is going terrible at the moment and I wouldn't be backing them with MAL's Money (that's saying something)...

The kid by the way is very spoilt from what I have seen, with all his designer clothes and big bets he has with his mum and dad (oh to have that much money) - and when the money's on.. that's all that matters...

Look at the results the past 3 weeks though for the stable.. not very good is all I can say - just seem to have dropped off the pace... either that or they may be just waiting for the "right race" to come along.... but I won't be backing their horses at the moment...

i agree thats why i was puzzled you liked 'things to do' so much the other night but even the smarties like you my friend are occaisanally on the wrong path, a trainers wife asked her husband to buy live to love today he said "no way not from that bloke" i wont put what else he said but suffice to say it wasn't good about the 'treatment' handed out to those horses

Yeah - I was on the wrong track.. but i'm up with the program now.. still remember the night D Harding drove the 6 winners, was my only winning night at globe for the month... most were on the stable runners...

speaking of which - I notice no stable runners on Saturday night.. have left them all at home, so obviously not happy with what is going on...
