i've noticed that in the australian hi-bat that the tab is betting on brad hogg at $67.00 but we all know he played last night for wa & has been RELEASED from the aussie side to play in the next shield game this was in the paper & mentioned on fox last night so why or how is the tabsportsbet allowed to bet on things that cannot happen

on the series hi-bat which is suspended if they open up they have ed joyce at $67.00 he has 2 games left as does oram but hayden & ponting only have 1 game left

they've just taking his name down but they do it all the time

At 8-30 I rang up to back AU in the cricket and they were closed.
They have now lost me as a regular sports punter.
I bet in the run several times today I made a very slight loss
but would have made a profit, but scabtab rortbet was closed.

Dont believe you blokes continue to bet with them...I only do as a last resort...they are really for dumb punters who have no idea there are other bookies around

They open till about 10-30 6 days a week BUT the scabs cant
afford to pay Sportsbet staff about 2 hours more to the completion of the match.

SPORTSBET worst odds in OZ cocnsistently and tonight they let down a good customer.

they miss out on people wanting to back osea's sport as it is Sunday overnight our time, therefore they miss all the business for soccer, NFL, NBA etc etc....remember its the Super Bowl tomorrow...so Mal wouldnt be the only one wanting to get a bet on...not only do they miss that business but these punters naturally look eslewhere and wont be back once they see what others offer...you can ring all my bookies 24/7 to get on

i feel sorry for those with TAB outlets.

I use to frequent agencies to punt, but nowadays i punt at home on my accounts. betfair, centrebet, ozbet (wa) and go to the dogs wednesdays.

I did keep a record of my turn-over in the past and it got scarey, now i just keep profit/loss.

SPORTSBET are taking people out of the agencies and onto the internet to do punting because everything is so much better.

im thinking when we are in an agency all we have to do is start bagging sportsbet and PUNITAB and maybe the rest will follow to join us in punting elsewhere.

yes mal but we all know they only open when racing is on, surely you knew that , as well !!! but they are open much more than the so called professional adelaide based bookies in thornton & completesports while on curly's mob they call themselves COMPLETE but unless things have changed they wont/dont bet on a lot of sports some overseas sports i think fair enough but when they refuse to bet nbl,shield & one-day domestic cricket (we will give you the tote odds) thats a disgrace, i know you wont agree mal as you are curly's lovechild

the point is that we all know they are open only when racing is on, they did make an exemption during the world cup soccer & the point is they are open longer than adelaides two 'professional sport bookies' so i would think its your fault not knowing their hours, i was suprised about 3 weeks ago on a saturday night at gdp i rang up my account to have a bet, phone betting closed at around 9.30pm i think that is ludicrous but thats their hours so be it & my fault not knowing

Yeah thats thier rules BAYMAN but its wrong.
Those episodes of closing sundays 2 hours earlier IS COSTING THEM CUSTOMERS.
DUTCHY/MAL are 2 that I know off.

And they close of phone betting at 9-30 how ******* DUMB is that when
thier competitors the Bookies/Betfair are open till the last is finished.
You can get a bet on after 9-30 on the TAB , that being voice bet to a computer
which is DUMB as well, considering how many bets are called back WRONG.

We dont need sportsbet..... clearly we can get better odds elsewhere...... its once in a blue moon that sportsbet is better.....
Its purely convienience that they get business..... any serious punter would not bet with them.... they would get the $5 each way punters I reckon.... seriously they are crap..... I just wish everyone knew the options they had available to them with sports punting!!!!!!!

AS DUTCHY has mentioned PUNITAB with TAB SPORTSBET is really the service for poor punters who know no better!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can see BAYMANS view that PUNITAB close when they dont have any race meetings on etc, but it is a little ridiculous when they only bet on 4 races from mandurah dogs, hong kong races, sth african races. if they are going to operate a service on such meetings surely they should bet on the whole card.

second of all i can see where MAL is coming from, SPORTS BETTING has exploded over the last few years so surely PUNITAB wouldnt be losing any money in paying wages for 2 people to man the lines!!!!!
