Guys,
My cricket club (Western Youth Centre CC) is holding a "Night at the Dogs" on March 8,You,yes you, have the opportunity to have a race named after you, your business, the company you work for, anything really.
The cost is $250+gst per race, and with enough sponsorship the Cricket Club get some dollars in return.
Now,the name you choose,"The Mal Cup" the "Grubby Dash",whatever you like, gets printed in all the usual rags.Tiser,TAB Guide and so on,giving the potential Advertiser some decent exposure.
We also have a $25 entry+ all you can eat buffett deal going for anyone who is keen for some Thursday night doggy action in a couple of weeks.
PM me for more, perhaps a "SA Footy HCP" could be a go,a syndicate funding it?It might become one of the most anticipated days on the dog racing calendar.
Over to you boys.

here are some early thoughts of tomorrow nights meeting which is ST LEDGER HEAT NIGHT
1 - winning chances 1,5. place chances to 2,4,7 and possibly 8
2 - chances to 2,4,6,7,8
3 - 2,3,5
4 - 2, 7. the 3 can place CANT WIN. the 4 is improving with racing. the 8 can figure in first 4's but would need to jump on terms.
5 - 1 looks winner, 2,3,6
6 - 1 finally got a good box, e/w. 4 should win with 2 being main danger
7 - 1,4,7 main winning chances, the 5 has to lead to win
8 - 4,5,6
9 - 3 Kid Dakota looks BET OF THE NIGHT, but will be odds on.
10 - 1,7 main chances, the 5 can lead and should be big odds. the 8 has won its last 2 prepared to risk it.
11 - 4,6 main chances. the 7 e/w if you can get the price and 8 place best
will have a more detailed preview tomorrow

CHRIS ORMSBY
---------------------
I believe the popular Chris Ormsby might be devoting more
time as a greyhound trainer in the near future.
There is gossip about that he will move to Colin Wachtels premises.
If he can learn even more off the great trainer then thats great.
LATE MAL
-----------
R9-4 KID DAKOTA
Fantastic dog, tries very hard and in form.
Career of 38 starts
10 wins
10 seconds
10 thirds
Prizemoney $14,490
A marvellous hound.
SABRED and in the expert hands of Col Simes
Only 7 runners so lets get on EW
In the quinellas suggest 4/67
BOONEY will try and get there late to see the WYC lads.
Good luck

I think people must've stopped giving him dogs when he sent Wolf Black around twice a week for 4 years straight, AFTER breaking a hock...
