GREYHOUND DEATHS
------------------------

Two brilliant performers are now deceased
DYNA UTAH broke a hock in a trial, SAFOOTY will be reeling
TEN TORNADOS reasons unknown

GREYHOUND OF THE YEAR 2006
-------------------------------------

Nominations are :

BOTHING
JUMBO FORREST
MISS SPICY
SATANIC MISS
TEN TORNADOS

I think the Troy Murray superstar MISS SPICY [now retired] will win the award.
From the powerful Sarah Pringle QLD kennels.
Troy grabbed this cast off and improved it out of sight.

GENISTA ROAD
------------------

Do we remember this dog ?
Cost Ronnie Pistilli $15k to buy in 2006.
The dog was injured in the Strathalbyn Cup in September 2006
This dog was a powerhouse swooper before the injury
Lets watch and hope it races well this preperation.

SHAUN MATCOTT
---------------------

Taken over the farm at Murray Bridge
COLLINS left Dec 06 xmas time
ROONEY left last week FEB 07
MATCOTT is now in charge

PREVIEW
-------------

Very hard meeting and really no good things
I suggest we concentrate on race 8
I think [4] KID DAKOTA and [5] MAMMA LENA will both be in the placings.
Suggest try roving 4/5 all ways
Any twos
Quinella perhaps
Exacta perhaps
Or definitely EW or PLACE depending on the odds.

MALS MARKET

1 $41
2 $11
3 $21
4 $2-10
5 $2-80
6 $61
7 $15
8 $9

Markets at about 115% same % approx. as TAB

Good luck all

im on the punt tonight so ill give my race by race thoughts if anyone wants them

for the record race 1 - i think the 3 can place, the 6 runs on for first 4 and tri players, winning chances to 7,8. 7 on top for mine

EMERLEY CARLOS

has been disqualified from its win at GAWLER on the 20th February. THe greyhound was ineligible as a juvenile as it won a GRADE 5 EVENT at ANGLE PARK on the 25th January!!!!!!!!!!!

the main reason im upset about this, is i backed COBALT THUNDER in the race for a place and of course it ran 3rd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think i have a claim to be compensated. How could the stewards not know that a dog was not eligible for a race especially when its close to a month since its last start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

surely they would have realised when they saw the form of the dog in the race book :? :? :?

IMCOMPETENCY REIGNS SUPREME AT ANGLE PARK

should have stuck to my wed formula and just tipped those boxed in multi's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yesterday morning we had the heats of the ST LEDGER.

as usual the admin roll in and have brekky. Amazingly they are allowed to eat bacon and eggs, while the other patrons are told the kitchen is closed and thats only 20 minutes after the meeting has started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ali walked in with OLIVER BOTT the esteemed financial manager of greyhound racing here in SA, he looked over in SHOCK - to see the bookie stand up and running and made a comment to ALI saying 'Whats Vaughan doing here?'

its great to see that the admin doesnt even know when the bookie will roll up

handy result there with 8,3,5 filling the placings.

the JACK ran on again for another drum!!!!!!!!!!!

the winner 8 CAMPLIN BALE i believe is the first winner for S.D.MATCOTT training for WHEELER, i guess now he is off the mark it wont be long before he makes his way up the leaderboard for the top trainers award this season!!!!!!

i didnt think anyone was looking, so i thought id get rid of it, but I too LAYED it at $6.60 on betfair and lost!!!!!!!

race 8

4,5 only 2 winning chances, while i think the 8 can run 3rd and 4th for first 4's.

race 9 - 6 Delite Bale if around $5 is a good e/w bet

race 10 - box 1,3,5,8

race 11 - 1,2 main chances with a watch on 5!

all up

race 8 win 4,5
race 9 win 1,3,5,8
race 11 win 1,2

you can go those for the place as well as you like as they all should be around the mark

if you've been following from race 1 you should be in front, if you were smart enough to box up the 4 mentioned in the first 4 for a $650 result. admittedly i didnt mention too box them but that will be my new approach.

Thanks mate - at least we got a preview from you tonight..

Disappointed with mal and bob north - seen they've been picking winners the past 6 - 8 weeks and the night I bet on the dogs (the wife is out) - no preview from those boys..
