Gawler 9/3/07

Postby SCD » Thu Mar 08, 2007 10:38 pm

Actually think this is one of the better Gawler meetings they've had for a while..

R1 - 1,2,9 on top from 4,5,6,7,8 in a tough start to the night
R2 - 4 and 8 look classes above from everything except 2,5,10
R3 - 2,6,7,8 the only winning hopes (2 has gone much better at long odds it's last couple)
R4 - Great Race with 5,9,10 on top from 1,2,3,4,7
R5 - 3 and 5 on top from 1,7,9,10
R6 - 3 e/w from 1,4,5,6,8,10
R7 - 3,4,7 on top from the field in an open race
R8 - a low light to end the night and not any of those animals would get my money.. 9 if you have to e/w

Suggested Bets
R2 - 8p
R4 - 9p
R5 - 3 e/w
R6 - 3 e/w

Betfair Specials
R4 - 2 won't be leading tonight
R6 - 5 big jump in grade and it's struggling...

GAWLER,

leaders track,

r1 1,2,6 from 4,5 with 9 the only one of the backline that could sneak a place
r2 4,8,9 the top three with 1,2,7 having some place hopes
r3 chances 2,3,5,6,7 if 2 runs up to it run two starts back it'll be hard to catch in this
r4 1 e/w from 2,4 & its a field job after them
r5 3,8,9 the main three with 1,5,7,10 have multi claims
r6 1 an e/w special from 4,5,then 8,10
r7 although off 20m the 7 looks the leader (if he trotts & he has been recently) & winner from 1,3,4,5
r8 chances 1,6,9,10 the 6 is expected to win by the stable (shooooooooosh)

suggested bet(s)
r3 no 2 e/w (want double figures though)
r4 no 1 e/w (can not miss money the way the race will be run)
r6 no 1 e/w ( ditto )

betfair lay
r4 no 7 (will be 3 back pegs which will be too far back here)
anything off the 2nd row is always worth risking at gawler unless they are a lot better than the opposition as they dont make ground up on this LEADERS BIASED TRACK

good luck & tread warily
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

scd i think humbolt will lead & not hand up to no 4 hence giving the gun run to the pole, the smart thing for her to do would be handing up to 4 but she wouldn't know that (obviously that is how i read the race & time will tell)

If 2 leads it won't get 1 to the sprint lane.. no way does it have the heart to get the 1 there and the change back to P Borrelli is not good for the 1.. i'll take 4,5,9,10 any day ahead of 1 or 2.. we'll have to wait and see.. maybe I could wager some of my 100 schitzels you owe me .. huh?? :D

Mark 8/3/07 accordingly in the history journals

R7-5 ROVERS RETURN runs a place at $1-60

I'm shattered - didn't get to the tab for the 1st.. would have backed the 9 at that price.. can't beleive it - should have been about $6 - $7 at tops.. it's been going good in much better races...

make it 6/4 & you got a deal

that means 75/50 schnitzels not 100/50
