There is no contest between Webster and Harding.. D Harding is a much better tactical driver and much better form analyst - and while Webster is driving good at the moment, he's no where in the mould or in the same league as the interdominion heat winning driver - D Harding..

IT JUST DEPENDS ON WHERE on what the money is on that determines what they do, and if the smart money is on boof then he may have a chance at the title...........

just have to watch that money..............

'no contest' scd that is very harsh he is as good as most going around, he sums up the races as good as anybody & knows the form as well as anybody, (i cant say it publically so i'll say it this way whether he's on the job or not, that doesn't mean he cant drive or doesn't know the form) but he may not drive as many winners as dk but he is as good, but the ? i asked is 'is he issuing a shot at the title ?'

ps that ? does not mean most winners, it means driving ability compared to the rest of them

BAYMAN

i would be thinking to answer your question about the challenge, if you are saying it doesnt mean getting most winners then maybe you need to check out the strike rates of both drivers.

yeah the s/r is probably more what i mean but add the total ability of both drivers (i think they are equal) scd is too young to know boofs overall career, just go back to his drive on laminated clear in a gawler cup

I think if all 3 codes had strike rate premierships with a minimum of drives/rides/winners trained etc, it would probably give a better explanation of who really is the best.

A good example is at the dogs, the COllins clan were winning premierships recently because of the number of starters they were having per race, but if you look at the trainers strike rate overall, they would be the lowest, i guess HAYES would have been one for the horses as well here locally.

SCD maybe too young to know what BOOF did early on in his career, but you have to remember you are talking about current events and people over time either get better or in fact get worse in some cases.

D Harding would never have done what Boof did on Anvils Revival tonight..

on a $3 favourite and insted of following the death seat and sitting in the 1/1 (behind the clear 2nd fav) - he drops on the fence and follows a $25/1 pop that was far inferior to the death seat Arbiter and then never ever gets out...

Yes I'm talking out my pocket here, but D Harding never makes stupid tactical decisions like that - complete incompetence.
