Postby bayman » Sat Mar 17, 2007 1:14 am

GDP SAT,

r1 very open 1,2,7,8,9,10
r2 for the treble its basically a field job if you can get double figures 2 e/w but it is tough
r3 5 top pick (rated evens) from 3,4,8,10
r4 on top 6 e/w from 2,3,4,6,7,8 in another tough race
r5 4 should win from 6,8,10,11,12
r6 6 should lead & win again from main dangers 2,7 then rough place hopes to 1,4,5
r7 with the ones we know 7,8,9 are the best but they are not much good so the winner will come from 3,5,6 i'll go 3 from draw
r8 watch market on 4,5 apart from them its 6 on top from 3,7,8,9
r9 well its 362 days since 3 won a race (may come good at this time of year  ) it is a chance in this as well as 1,4,6,7,8 in an open race

suggested bet(s)
r5 no 4 win
r6 no 6 win

betfair lay
r1 no 6

gdp monday,

r1 chances 2,8,9,10 2 is top pick next best 1,3

r6 6 a special from 1,2,3,4,5,7,10
r7 2 top pick from 3,4,5,8
r8 4,6 on top the 4 is reported to be pretty good, from 5,7,8,11

suggested bet(s)
r3 no 8 e/w
r5 no 1 e/w
r6 no 6 win

LATE MAL
------------

Got a few that should win but no OFFICIAL tips tonight
Just a few comments on some of my pets and others

R2-4 URJOKIN [$3-50]
in form but up in grades now
would need EW odds to consider backing

R3-5 COUNT DE CHRISTO[$1-70]
looks likely to be in the death seat as FIRE + BRIMSTONE leads anything
the $1-70 is about right
R3-8 ANVILS JUST FINE[$3-20]
good thing beaten when a first up 2nd last week and a big danger to the fav.
Likely to be running on and a safe place bet

R5-11 SUPREME TEMPO[$5-50]
our blackbooker saluted at Kapunda last week at the staggering odds of $12 tab.
this is a harder race but only off 20 meters and a big chance
the start is the prob as can miss the kick
worth a ticket ew

R6-6 ROYCIE [$1-60]
in devastating form thrashing his rivals over the shorter trips
up in distance but is in great form to overcome it
can lead from the poor barrier and will set up a big lead at some stage
is short $1-60 but hard to beat

No bets but pay to nibble at the above selections

GDP SATURDAY

Postby SCD » Sat Mar 17, 2007 12:58 pm

Don't worry Bayman - i'll post on the same thread as you!!

R1 - with 1 leading, think it's a good e/w chance from 2,3,8,9,10
R2 - 3,7,10 on top (i like the 7 e/w) from 1,2,8,9
R3 - 5 and 8 the only winning hopes from 3,4,9 and maybe 1
R4 - 2,3,4,6,7,9 the hopes in a tough race
R5 - 4,11,12 the main hopes - but the foolproof 4 is a good e/w bet
R6 - 6 will lead, 2 will be on it's back - 6 should win.. but better bet is the quin with the 2 - take 1,4,7 for 3rd.
R7 - 3 and e/w special - should be too good for them from 1,7,8,9
R8 - 4,8,9 on top from 1,6,7
R9 - I'm not even going to bother looking at this shit race

Suggested Bets
R1 - 1 e/w
R2 - 7 e/w
R6 - 2 + 6 Quin
R7 - 3 e/w

Betfair Specials
R2 - 1 although leading.. up in grade and think it can't hold off the 7
R5 - 6 beaten on merits last week, on same handicaps - can't turn the tables..
R6 - 7 gone off and the 6 will run along..
R7 - 10 ANT - shouldn't have won last week..
R9 - ANYTHING UNDER $2.50 - $3.00

COMMENTS ON MALS PETS
---------------------------

URJOKIN EW a slashing 2nd a brave run
COUNT DE CHRISTO WIN looked gone 100 from home kicked on tenaciously to win
ANVILS JUST FINE EW ran usual honest race 2nd to the champ CTC
SUPREME TEMPO EW a good third

ROYCIE WIN was sensational once again
There was a doubt on it running the 2200 metres
after not scoring up
after drawn barrier 6
after being sus at the 2200....
the new star led easily, and won by a METRE a KILOMETER

None of the above were official LATE MALS but all ran thier usual good races
They are all magnificent aniMALs.

I don't think you can brag when you don't do any offical tips - anyone can post up this and that, without putting up who they like for the night for real...

Of my 4 bets, 3 collects, including the 2nd race winner @ $6 on Supertab = a small profitable night... all up into

Man Utd / Chelsea / Middlesborough / Blackburn + 0.5

Lets face facts I love to brag when Im right.
Those horses I previewed were just a preview and a guide.
They all ran OK, and I did not brag, and I stated they were not "official LATEMALS"

just testing to see who was on the ball, no seriously my form had a misprint i started showing mal in the racebook tonight & noticed that the date in the book was '05 & not '06 as i read on thursday

but seeing its still pick on bayman month, i'll ask why are you tipping odds on favourites as e/w specials ? :? :? :? :? :? :? two in two nights

Say no more Mal... But you can't be right if you're not putting up proper tips.. If you're doing a proper preview of every race like bayman - that's fine... but to just put a couple of horses up and say they are just a preview - but not suggested bets, then you can't brag if they go good and if they go bad (i.e. Premier Holmes last week - you say it's just one of my pets)

I know - but honestly didn't think the one tonight would be that short - I was expecting $3 - $4....

You think it's pick on Bayman month.. well - let's set the record straight with some of your tips tonight..

R8 - check out 4 and 5 (run the exacta @ $200/1)
R9 - 3 is a good chance - wins @ $6.. - That's a super effort to pick winners and give a preview like that.. well done mate... :D :D

and if you boxed Mal's - Bayman's e/w special (8 - Franco Southfork) and my e/w tip in race 3 (Rockiton) - then you would have got the trifecta..

Another $4 - $5 e/w winner for SCD.. goes on the back of Molly's Triumph on Saturday and Pjaelene last Saturday.. so even though I've tipped a few $1.60 pops each way - i've also got some nice priced winners the last couple of weeks...
