CAUSEWAY
-------------

This hound is winning at Strath and Gawler on a consistent basis in sprints.
I notice next tuesday its in a 643 m at Gawler, why when you are blitzing in sprints ?
K Corby is an astute trainer so will give her the benifit of the doubt on this issue.

KACHINA POWER
---------------------

This exciting pup is going over the 6oom Monday night
Will be having its 19th run and in the very good PAYNE kennell.
Dogs stepping up in distance before 20 runs invariably do well.
Likely to run well at first look

SALE DOGS VETERANS RACE
----------------------------------

RACE 6 Monday night
For dogs 4 years and over
The 8 dogs have had 590 runs
111 wins
about $225k prizemonies.
PLASTERED[8] is a former topliner has won $55k
FRANKANNE BEAM[2] 52 runs, one win + $2k prizemoney
CHRISAAKS MAGIC is 5 years and 4 months old !!!!!!

Nice innitiative by the club, and I will watch with interest.

PORT PIRIE OHHHHHHHHHH NO
====================

The club will be running 300m races as of sunday 18/03/07
I guess you have to have short course alternatives for dogs in SA, but
they are boring one dimensional races, leaders win and zzzzzzzzzzzzz
We need distance races they are thrilling and dogs can win from behind.

PREVIEW
-----------

R7-1 DEGREE OF STYLE
loves inside draws
no pace early biut will be railing hard and runs on exceptionally well
suggest EW 1 win to 4 places ratio

R10-1 PETER POST
deadset loafer who wont chase to keenly
lovely draw
should be in the finish in exotics, likely to run 2nd or third at worst
EXOTICS for a PLACE

INTERSTATE
---------------

SALE R1-2 JOVIAL LADY
only 6 runners
still a maiden
runs on well and small field suits
EXOTICS for a PLACE

SALE R10-3 GYPSY TUNES
short courser who finds a spot and stays there
handles all draws and go well
PLACE

Still no MT79 who cant locate his password on SAFOOTY

mal, i see you quip about pirie running 300 metre races but why not ? i think if the dogs want to add interest, have different distances ie from the 300 up to the 700 odd, with the occaisional marathon & also i'd bring back the hurdles thus giving the punter & viewer more varieties to watch rather than watching basically the same thing over & over again

one example, 'wild country' champion 300 odd metre dog (gawler) but couldn't run out the 500 which means different distances could mean a extra great dogs running around in sa, imagine a night where you had the great dogs running in one night you'd have the champs in the 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, the marathon & the hurdle, a bit like the gallops you get the sprinters, milers, stayers & hurdlers. VARIETY MAL THAT IS WHAT I THINK
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Variety is fine
Gotta cater for speedy hounds who struggle above the 300m races.
I personally find the 300m races boring.
The leaders nearly always win, thats boring.
