gdp mon,

r1 2,3,7 from 4,5 with next best 6,9 top pick is 3, but scd's favourite horse  is a good place bet 7
r2 2,3,7 (2 top pick) next best 4,5
r3 2 a special, main danger 3 then 7,8,9
r4 1 likely leader & hard to catch from 4,5,6,7 next best 9
r5 chances 1,2,3,5,6,9 top pick is 6 but only if its value
r6 4,5,6,10,12 10 is a place special
r7 9 on top from 5,7,8
r8 2,3,7,8,9 with top pick 8

suggested bet(s)
allup
r1 no 7 place
r3 no 2 win
r6 no 10 place

betfair lay
r7 no 1 (another scd favourite not, put up 500/1 & take the easy cash)

good luck on the punt

ps mal you were soft you should've come to the casino after the trotts last night     & i thought a.grub would've contacted me for an introduction :? :? :? :? :? :?

R1 - lack of depth makes the 2,3,7 boxed in exactas a good bet, but Bayman is spot on.. 7 is a place special
R2 - 2 should lead and just about win.. from 1,3,4,7
R3 - 3,6 on top from 1,2,7,8,9
R4 - They say a punter learns from there mistakes, so go with 1 leading.. making 1,7,8 the main hopes
R5 - 2,8,9 on top from 1,3,6,10
R6 - 1,3,4,7,10,12
R7 - 7,8,9 the main hopes - I think the 1 can lead this week and go ok in this field.. maybe a place..
R8 - 8 on top from 3,6,7,9,10
R9 - OH WAIT.. this and R10 are a non-tab from Friday's washed out meeting.. best races of the day and they are non-tab, what a joke...

Suggested Bets
R1 - 7p
R2 - 2w
R4 - 7p
R8 - 8 e/w (will def run a place, but think it will be short + not sure how genuine it is)

Betfair Specials
R4 - 4 doesn't back up all that well and needs to lead (won't cross the 1)
R5 - 6 longest prep ever and seems to have gone off.. barrier 6 - even with a claiming driver, can't lead easy, so can't win

Good luck on the punt...

Is there a worse Pacer in SA than Sherwood Ralph?
FFS what r they trying to prove with this slug?
With such a Deplorable record, Woodall (WAD) puts SR through
a sub 30 second 1st Qtr.
Surprise surprise, Dropping out 1/2 a lap out.
Will NEVER win a race.

Geez Im glad I backed R3-2 DAMES PRIDE on the TAB yesterday

PAPER $5-50
TAB....$3-50
SP.......$2-20

I punted this horse on the MALMILLION challenge at $5-50 paper odds
Had a nibble on it yesterday TAB at the $3-50
The only person who got the odds right was DAMMERELL on course $2-20

Just on that Mal - if you / Bayman get a chance, it would be good to start seeing some prices (so I know what i'm missing out on) for being over here in Melbourne.

I think the 150 - 165% mark that I suspect he bets will just show how much better off I am on the tab

For your perusal SCD
Mondays PAPER + SPs +TAB dividends.
winners prices at GDP monday 26/03/07

PAPER...SP.....TAB

4-20....2-00...3-50
4-50....2-70...3-00
5-50....2-20...3-50
7-00....4-00...3-70
4-00....3-50...3-80
5-50....4-60...5-40
4-00....3-50...5-50
4-00....1-50...1-70

the paper was better on 7 races
the tab was better on one race only
the bookie was not better than any of them .

If there are any SP bookmakers still operating they should hold everybodys
money and lay off on the TAB after, or if they can find a genie wish for paper odds

PAPER = varys between 120 to 150 % in thier markets
TAB = always the same[about 115%]
SP = at the trots about 150% on the jump.

Ocasionally due to scratchings the papers odds can be distorted[but it usually absorbs the %]

Hope that makes sense SCD

makes sence Mal - but it's discraceful...
The paper bets at 75% in some races, whoever does the odds is a tosser but at least the punter could get a go - unlike with our mate Damarell
Keep em coming - so we can see where / if there is any value i've missed.

speaking of dammarrell & i know i've said it before but why are trotting drivers allowed to work for bookies at the trotts nothing against the lad but it could lead to (at least from an outsiders view) that 'skull duggery' is occuring just imagine if dammarrell had 4/1 his employees horse & the tote was 2/1 & the horse went poorly ?? i think it shows a misjudgement call in the terms of professionalism, lets face it a jockey would not be allowed to work for a bookie at the races would they ?? i dont have a problem of them working at the dogs or races but not at the code that they participate in

what do you guys think ??

ps when curly was there he had a driver (sometimes two) working for him as well i think it is wrong
