Well here we are again, after a successful off season building up a bank for the footy Im ready to go, although am going to be very wary easrly in the year there will still be a few bets to make a profit on.

Today I really like the Roos to open their account against the Pies. Roos will be up and about early as usual and Collingwood are someimes sluggish early in the season. With all the drama in the off season this is a typical backs to the wall Shinboner opportunity.

Roos +5.5
$40- @ $1.94
to return $77.60

That will be it for today, will probably have 2 bets tomorrow.

*Deleted multi's decided to just keep my single bets recorded here*

alright secured these prices today to get the best price as I believe both these will firm -

South are playing a home game at Victor Harbor and from memory had a good win down there last year, they know the ground and its their local area that they desperately want to develop, their trial form has been good and from my knowledge have a full list to choose from...as for the Eagles, their trial form has been poor they have many many players missing from their GF side, and most being key midfielders...GF sides historically have been slow early in the season...this one points to South being favourites but they aint!!!...pretty confident with this one, I only usually bet this much 3-4 times per year when Im really confident and believe this is a great spot to do it -

South +14.5 points v Eagles
$100- @ $2-00
to return $200-

Port play Norwood in the season opener Thursday night, with or withour Tredrea I believe Port are a much better unit with some great scoring power, I cant say the same for Norwood who i believe will struggle this year...Port for me, only for the win as this still could be kept close like a lot of Parade games.

Port to beat Norwood
$60- @ $1.60
to return $96-

still undecided about the AFL, but no doubt will find 1 or 2 to play with!!

good luck all

i think the western bulldogs are a must this weekend!!!

$1.40 win is probably about the right price, but i think 40+ is a big possibility!!!!!!!!

I agree with the south bet, i think they will win and you have a few points to play with if they lose!

South are not only a nightmare team to support but also a tipsters nightmare. When they should win they don't and vice versa. Hope for both of us you are right and they get up......

they played at the house of doom which is going against one of your system for the year but you have to take into consideration who they are playing, and i believe that they are a 6 - 8 goal better team then the cows. given the phone box is their home ground they are better then most other tams at backing up at the same ground. if it was a team say geelong who play carlton there this week then it is a big risk, because the cats dont play all their home games at the ground and may find it harder to back up on the cement.

If you watched closely last year I put a $50- multi on every Round, I decided not to continue this, therefore deleted it as I only want to track my main single bets, now yes Ive put on a multi here BUT its a $2.20 multi as I like all 3 to win but dont like them enough to cover ATS, therefore I thought it was good value to doubel my money...

I dont think you can doubt my integrity here after posting hundreds of bets, in fact Im the only one who keeps a public record of my betting on here, and by the way all have shown profits, why dont you try? or at least give some constructive criticism as I appreciate all feedback (thats what this forum is for)

Profit -$73.20

well a poor weekend, South bet was never a show and in hindsight shouldnt have risked $100- on this so early in the season, wont see another of these for a while, that bet in essence had given me the loss after Round 2 although the Bulldogs killing my multi didnt help! Also not happy with the Carlton bet, went 2-0 today which was pleasing...anyway this is a sprint not a marathon, looking forward to next week
