gdp monday,
r1 1 looks winner from 2,3,4,5 with rough place hopes to 6,8
r2 8 a special this is one of them that trialled very well, from 2,5,6 with 9,10 next best
r3 very open with chances 2,3,4,6,7,8,10 i have 2 top pick
r4 7 a special this is the other one that trialled brilliantly (it beat among others cullens hope on its merits) for multis 1,3,4,5,9,10
r5 another good thing in 1 (goes well fresh) for multis 2,7,8,9
r6 9 is a graded certainty with main dangers 1,2 with next best 7,10
r7 1 likely leader & back to 1800m looks the one from 2,7,8,9 with next best 5,10
r8 another trial tip (2nd handed but from a good judge) in 8 only danger is 9 with next best 2,4,5
r9 open race with main chances 1,3,4,9 top pick 4 next best 2,5,7
r10 another open race with chances to 1,2,4,5,6,8,10 but i like 4 e/w as it was unlucky last start & is racing well in its last couple
suggested bet(s)
r1 no 1 win
r2 no 8 win
r4 no 7 win
r5 no 1 win
r6 no 9 win
r8 no 8 win
they all look like winning but can i tip 6/10 ? nuh one or two of them will get beaten i spose
betfair lay
r10 no 2 (after last week i dont think it can run out 11 furlongs)
good luck on the punt & mal ring me if your going to the track as i'll get you to do some business for me with my pal dammarrell

Agree with a lot of Bayman's tips today - looks like a good days punting might be coming up
R1 - 1 a special from everything except 7 (2 a very good place hope - on it's win over Carnival Rose)
R2 - I don't know the 8 - so on raced ones main hopes is 2,3,6,10 - but the 8 will be hard to beat with ability
R3 - I like the 10 here from 2,4,6,7,8, but down in grade and has learnt to trot more consistent.. 10 should win
R4 - 1 and 7 have both trialled well.. I expect 2 to lead and hand up to 7 (making it a special) from 1,2,3,5
R5 - 1 a special from 2,7,8,9
R6 - 2,9 the main hopes (1 will lead), and main place hope along with 7,8,10
R7 - 1 is freshened, back to better distance.. should win - except for the driver change, making it an open race, so other main hopes are 2,4,7,8,10
R8 - 8 + 9 a great quinella with place hopes to 2,4,6, and if you have enough the 10 should improve, better driver.. but seriously - good to see the battlers with a chance to win a race.. but where's my old Favourite??? Sherwood Ralph - even you deserve a start in this race!!
R9 - 1,2,3,6,9 the main hopes in a tough race
R10 - 1 to lead, so hopes are 1,2,6,8,10
Suggested Bets
R1 - 1 w
R3 - 10 w
R5 - 1 w
R6 - 2 e/w
R8 - 8+9 quin
Betfair Bets
R1 - 4 bad driver change and can't beat the 1 here
R3 - 2 when bussled out the gate from a trot, gallops... would risk it in a harder grade here.
R5 - 9 - 1800m suits, but needs a front row draw..
R6 - 1 Raced like a crab at Mildura, and although on the pegs, - can't sprint home as quick as 2 or 9...
R9 - 9 very disappointing last start + another start for Fitzgerald, might just start to "go off" after leaving the Thompson barn..
Good luck and hope we can keep up the good punting..

Absolute smorgasboard meeting, lots of stand outs
as suggested by the 2 gurus who have put in immaculate previews
EARLY MAL
R1-1 STANDSBY CHASM
if leads would win this and i think it might lead
WIN
R5-1 SAVED A CORKA
this one is a malpet, simply leads and wins
I have it $1-30
Bookie will have it $1-20
TAB will have it $1-30
Paper probably a crazy $1-90 and we can all back it in the million $ challenge
R6
a conflict of interest here
SCD has declared [2] YOUNG WALTON ew
BAYMAN has declared [9] UNIQUE BABE for the win
MALS VERDICT
----------------
If [2] crosses the [1] it would be the one to beat
IF[1] leads the [2] then the [9] would be the one to beat
R6-9 UNIQUE BABE
Will run a good race irrespective of what happens
EW
If [1] is scratched the quinella 2/9 instead
Good luck

Mal - THE DALMATION hasn't raced since last Monday (to my reckoning) and the horse goes much better off a 7 - 10 day break (for reasons I won't go into here) - so 1800m suits, barrier 1 suits.. just the driver concerns me.. but think it's a great e/w chance today...

THE DALMATION
your right scd, well spotted
2ND OF 6 KAP 18/03
3RD OF 9 GDP 24/03
7TH OF 7 GDP 26/03
did have its 3rd run in a week between 18-26 march[and ran last ]
having its 4th run in 15 days today
been freshened but might still be a risky propostion after the 3 hard runs last week
SCD what do you know about
R8-8 MISDGOUGH
Its a NZ horse with very ordinary form
But with WEBSTER on it it might be favourite on course ?
If its $1-10 on early TAB markets I will have my answer
I think the $4-00 in the paper today might be excessive if ready
BAYMAN tipped it for a special, Im gussing he knows it goes ok
You have tipped it as well
Help me I need guidance

STANDLEY CHASM WINS
PAPER $3-50
TAB $1-50
This is how we kill 3 birds with one stone in one race
1 paper $3-50 tab $1-50
2 jimmy jaques on the betting about 30 seconds before the jump of this race
" THE TOP 4 ARE ALL OVERS ON THE TAB COMPARED TO THE BETTING RING,
THIS HAPPENS TO BE A REGULAR OCCURENCE."
3 STANDLEY CHASM THE $1-50 FAV wins the race
the 4th favourite MUCHOS GRATIAS is well driven to follow the leader
and runs on well to run a clear second at $12-40
yes our man SIMON JONES runs 2nd on the roughie
if only trainers would give him better drives..........
PS jimmy jaques commenting on JONES
" JONES GREAT DRIVE FRIDAY NIGHT AT PORT PIRIE IS....."
3 birds with one stone

Horse has trialled well, in a good barn (in good form) and let's be honest - any NZ horse with a scrap of ability should be winning an R0 non-winners race, looks a nice enough horse in the making - should win his fair share of races - only danger is the other NZ horse number 9 from another good stable, so expect these two to be a good quinella bet. and a good bet that Damarell bets $1.50 each of two and $3 the 3rd favourite..

THATS GOOD FOR DAMMARRELL AS I RECALL MAL POSTING A MARKET FROM KAPUNDA & THE FIRST TWO FAVOURITES WERE 1.50 & 1.80

I'VE SEEN BETTER MARKETS AT THE BAY SHEFFIELD
