i would think that south are value.
west should win comfortably but the draw could be a result 0-0, if CUPIDO gets stuck at the BBQ.

South @ $8 40+ &/into CD @ $3.50 40+ are worth a few lazy ones at this stage of the year.

POWER $1.15
VERY, VERY, VERY Short consideringm their record against the Kangaroos and
also that they r coming off a trip to Perth.
With the unpredictable results of round 1 and the new rules which only the umpires
seem to know i would say the Power r a huge risk.
Having said that they will probably win by 10 goals.
i thought odds would have been more like $1.40/$2.80

Show caution R1-5 (AFL), R1-3 (SANFL).
I am looking for value at the moment.

agree JJ, we should get a line of 30+ points on this one and Ill be looking at it, the roos love AAMI and love playing Port and I love the way everyone is tapping Port on the back after 1 win!!!...classic sport for the Kanags to pull an upset, although just heard Sincalir has copped 1 week....

early AFL
sydney should be winning.
geelong should win but tread carefully!!!! thought that the prices might be closer together
west coast is a gift!! bayman special!
essendon look good value against the most over-rated shite in the comp!
the bullies also look good value at the $1.40 they will win and win by plenty
the hawks at the line might be the way to go, but melbourne with a good draw for the first half of the year will be looking to get as many wins as possible before they start living at the airport!

i was informed last year by nancy that at the start of the week before the teams come out that they have a maximum bet, though i wasnt told what it was, she made it sound as if it was closer to $500 then $100.
it wont annoy too many people about the max bet being $100, it just means they have to go keep going back to put bets on. might be good exercise for some of them to go up and down the stairs!!!!!!

$1.15 for Port is way too short. I wouldn't have taken that when we were dominating, let along coming off a year when we didn't make the finals and just played in Perth.

Im looking at 2 bets for the weekend on the AFL...Carlton +6.5 points these guys are on a roll and once teams win early in the season it can be hard to stop the momentum, they will probably fade but at this stage Im happy to ride them...Kangaroos +29.5, while I think the Roos will lose I like their chances of keeping it close and not letting it be a blow out, 5 goals is ample enough start IMO...the Roos actually played very well last week and love AAMI (one of the few teams with a positive record at the stadium)...going to research a bit further and will advise...at the moment these are the definate "no bet" games -
Saints/Brisbane - to hard
Hawks/Melbourne - I like Melb to win but not at $1.60

I rolled the Saints into Port into Essendon last weekend and managed a pretty tidy 33/1 return, but don't have the confidence that this weekends round will be quite so unpredictable.

well i believe this is wrong & unlawful, there is a minimum bet ($1.00) & more importantly a bookmaker must ACCEPT A BET to lose/risk up to $1200.00 for each bet, when i go in for a big bet (presuming i do) & get told this i'll be going to the board again & WINNING AGAIN
HE CAN NOT DO IT, he should just wait for curly to open if he's that scared as he copies him most times anyway, lets get an organization started 'dutchbet' put 'our prices up on sunday night (on net with mistakes in them) & when jt copies, someone(s) there to pounce then dutchbet would change the net mistakes
