RED ALERT
-------------

There will be a prolification of betting inspectors at Oakbank this weekend
Last year a few minors were caught trying to collect winning tickets.
They were aged 15 + 16 years old
Bookmakers were fined over the incidents
Minors face fines of about $2500 for any indiscretions at the carnival

BAYMAN/MT79/PUNK please guys put your girlfriends bets on otherwise
they will get fined :!:

MALS BET for the weekend
R2-2 OUR CURRENCY {$4-60]

Nah, they don't care because they rake the money in. I'd never go to Oakbank or Adelaide Cup because of the idiots they attract.
I was bookies bag man at Adelaide Cup days and at Oakbank and can't tell you how frustrating it was trying to cater for their 50 cent each way bets on horses that are 5/6 on!

Not all together true Stampy. No doubt there is a %age of people who fill themselves to the eye balls and make complete fools of themselves, but is this any different to a crowd of 40,000 any where else? The Footy,Clipsal,Big Day Out,etc. For me it is unfair of you to critcise the SAJC.Oakbank and Adelaide Cup day are great days out,and a day that can be enjoyed by families and any one else who makes the effort to get there. This year I did a family day at Adelaide Cup,and yesterday a bus full of mates, beer and a bbq up to Oakbank.Had a ball for all different reasons on both occasions.

Those blind boys wandering the course yesterday are part and parcel, and if none of them did any thing to you, whats the problem?

Yeah.... I see both sides of the story..... nothing better than getting paro and heading off to the races to run a muock with the mates..... these types have taken over the big days of racing .... where it is now a tradition to go and get blottoed on the grass.....
They need to keep the serious punters away from these types..... I think they do it OK..... at most big meets.... with the people there for the 'party' generally on the grass and the punters behind/under/adjacent the stands....

well done to scoob for absolutely disgracing himself yesterday at oakbank and then being thrown out of the Cas at 6.30 this morning......Hows the head buddy????????????? and the Rabbitohs didnt even win?

totally disagree booney, it was disgraceful people falling over everywhere, my wife who doesnt drink absolutely hated running the gauntlet to get to the toilets, i saw one "young"lady" decide to boot a footy which landed square on a little girls head, dad wasnt happy and was going to dong whoever was responsible, another was waving her pantyhose in the air, this is not normal behaviour anwhere let alone where families are, if you consider it isnt a problem then you must be one of them
and no i am not a wowser either, i knocked back something like 18 mid strength cans up there and love to party

stampy.... is it time we had family friendly areas at the races (dry zone)..... like we do at the cricket????
just a thought..... that would be the logical answer IMHO..... then you could choose wherever you wanted to go....

that chick waving her pantyhose could have been mrs scoob..... she passed out on the grass before the last race.....

bet scoob had have wished he drank mid strength instead of 18 full strength cans followed by 4 Yagabomnbs and 14 CC's and lemonade at the cas..... MORNING SCOOB....rise and shine buddy..... beautiful day...... WADH!!!!

I am not 'one of them' thanks mate.I can knock some back and still act responsibly.I am not defending the actions of the 'yobos',just their right to act like one if they choose to,as you can choose to act as you do.Difference of opinion or not,it is still a great day out.

no doubt it is a great day out totally agree with that, BUT surely we dont have to expect and turn a blind eye to the tanked up young dickheads, isnt there a drunk and disorderly law anymore?
