CLARE RACES sensation

A young man ran onto the track during one of the races and nearly got
clobbered by the horses.[he was drunk from unconfirmed reports]
Police I believe dragged the person by handcuffs off the track.
Members of the crowd called him A dickhead and a loser
One person yelled out put the handcuffs around his nuts.

Jockeys had a meeting and I believe considered calling of the meeting
as might have been scared of beer bottles on the track or a repeat of the shanninigans.
Luckily from the club the show went on.

Clare is the most magnificent race meeting over Easter
Ive been a couple of times and its a good days racing.
The club does not need the inebriated exhuberance of youth to spoil the day as one did.

Was anybody there to witness the incident ?

Just stated they dont need the actions of that one person to spoil the meeting

WADH... he should be banned for life or fined the thousands of dollars that they are if you run on during the cricket... its a disgrace!!! he not only put his life in danger but all the people involved in that race! again i say WADH!

Remember that serial pest did it at the Melbourne Cup years ago (forgoten his name)..... they really do have to crack down on these DH's .... the penalties musnt be tough enough.....
