Yes Yes YES WTF! BULLS%#T Doesn't Matter

My Angle Park Quaddie Bet last night certainly put me through the full Range of Emotions a Punter can Experience.
After having a crap day punting on the First 4 jackpots on my VIC tab account i decided to have a crack at the Angle Park Quaddie using the Expert tips provided on this site as the Advertiser Provides SFA.
I put the bet on my WA Ozbet Account (Poools r combined with SuperTab). 1,2/1,5/2,3,4/1,8 $10 unit (cost $ 240)
1st Leg YES No 1 wins Saxon's Street $5.20 (Best Result)
2nd Leg YES No 1 wins Immortal Love $3.50 (Best Result)
3rd Leg YES No 3 wins Baurnahulla Hero $8.10 (Best Result)
All Up so far Almost 150/1, I'm thinking the quad has to be paying $300 - $400 for Nos 1 + 8 which Equates to a 3 to 4 grand pick up.
I then check the Approximates on the Ozbet site but they are unavailable so i then checked on the VIC tab site and WOT THE F--K!!!!!!!! :
1 and 8 are paying a bit over a $1,000 each. The pool was $9,589.50 so i think WTF again as this cant be possible. I immediately begin to think that i must have stuffed my bet up so i checked my bets on the Ozbet site and found that the bet was correct so again i think WTF!!
I then noticed that the Quaddie Pool on Ozbet was only $1,089. Again WTF!!! I then thought that they may have been experiencing technical problems between the Tabs preventing them from finalizing pools and Dividends etc which has happened before from time to time. I then Discovered that dividends in earlier races were different between the two Tabs only on the Night meetings but not during the day. Again WTF!!!.
I now was resigned to the fact that WA were operating Stand Alone Pools and that i could only Collect a Maximum of About 7 to 8 Hundred $$$$ from my Quaddie instead of Thousands. BULLSHIT i thought. By now The 4th leg is about to start. RACING...... Glen Abbey Doll and Miss Columbia both slow to begin...... and were never a winning chance. After all that it DIDN,T MATTER. i lost.
I then Rang up WA TAB and asked wot the hell was going on
I was told that they Had experienced problems earlier in the night Relaying information to VIC TAB so they Decided to run Stand Alone Pools on all meetings.
I Politely thanked her 4 her Explanation and was informed that things SHOULD be back to normal Friday.
I Calculated that i would have been up for about $4,500 collects on 1 + 8 under normal circumstances but as it turned out it didn't matter.

I Have never come Accross a situation like this B4 and am Quite Surprised that Regulations allowed them to do it as u can see from the above Example the huge ramifications for Punters. I.E. It's Just not F---ing Good enough Especially as there was no Notice on either website nor did i hear any announcement on Sky channel.

PS. One bonus was earlier in the night i had 1 other bet on WA Tab. $100 on Toppie Otara at Mildura. It Won and pd $1.90 on Vic Tab.
After the above Fiasco i checked to see that it pd $3.10 on WA.
Doesn't change the fact that the whole situation was totally UNACCEPTABLE.

its a disgrace in that they didnt let the punter know what was happening, but i guess it was good in a way that they still conducted a quaddie.

obviously the investment wouldnt have been as much if you realised what was going on.

If i New What they did, i would have put my bet on my VIC Tab account BUT thats not all they STUFFED up on.
How about this.... RACE 7 at Mildura trots the Trifecta was a Jackpot and Presumably would go onto Race 8.
Although FINAL DIVIDENDS were declared on VIC Tab about 10 mins after the race, WA Tab didn't declare ALL CLEAR until AFTER Race 8 Had FINISHED. The Jackpot Trifecta From Race 7 ($4,519) therefore wasn't advertised to be put on race 8. It Wasn't until AFTER race 8 had been run that they then injected the Jackpot from race 7 into the trifecta pool for race 8. Fair dinkum, What sort of people r running our TABs????

And one more stuff for those interested.

A couple of months ago WA Tab Advertised A Jackpot Quaddie on a Mid week Night meeting (cant recall specifically which one) but Vic Tab didn't advertise it although they combine the pools. After the last leg had been run, WA Tab Declared a Certain Dividend which was a lot higher than the VIC Tab declared (Remembering these are combined pools so it has to be the same dividend). After some time the WA TAB then Adjusted the Dividend to the same as VIC Tab b4 Declaring Final Divedends. NOT Good enough as punters depending on the Approximates Lay off on the last legs of Quaddies and need to Know ACCURATE Dividends.
An explanation from WA TAB was that the Jackpot would normally have been on this meeting but VIC Tab who has the final say, Decided to hold it back to a later date. UNBELIEVABLE that mistakes like this happen. Again NOT GOOD ENOUGH
