Visited the Gold Coast [Parklands complex] for a trot meeting last week.
Cost me $4-40 admission
There were about 20 people in the betting ring
No bookmaker there for 5 years
There were another 300 people in the dining area and outside
Kids were playing on a jumping castle and playing with the rugby ball
Talked to kids grandparents who take the Grandkids every friday to meet kids friends[take note SATC]
Wonderful modern complex, but no one there
There was form guides for all the meetings on a wall[good]
Beers $3-50
Resteraunt prices too exhorbitant
$3-30 for a formguide
TAB staff immaculately attired in brown unifrom tops with name tags

RATING
7/10
NIce complex, good night out

Found a couple of lads gave them the oncourse mal[and they won I didnt]
I invested $680 for a return of $683, I won $3
On courseTAB commision of me was about $68

Also I fished a couple of people on the Lucys Light saga , bothy were stunned
at the master plan of the punters involved
It was at that complex at a dog meeting when it happened.

PS : Len and Dave thanks for the company and the beer fellas
[Dave + Len are the 2 lads I met and they are going to log on to see this post]

Great night

If the Cas bores you dont go watch the team that plays AFL footy there these days
