r5 chances 4,5,6,7,8 with 7,8 top two
r6 6 a moral with the main danger again 7 then 1,3,8
r7 chances 1,5,7,8,11

LATE MAL
------------

Good even fields
No selections
Will be at the footy instead

At this stage R6-4 TOPPIE OHARA is running
Raced at Mildura at 4-oo in the afternoon yesterday
So when did the horse travel to Adelaide ?
Probably left this morning.
Jimmy Jaques made comment about this as well on a preview.

Its a joke twice in 24 hours and travelling as well.

sorry mate - i've been very busy all day today.. haven't even really done the form properly, but here goes

R1 - I backed Regent Shark e/w @ $30 - ran 2nd..
R2 - I backed Franco Southfork e/w @ $35 - it galloped.. so it's been an average start..

R3 - 5,6 and 10 the top hopes (expect good speed on here)
R4 - 9 e/w from 1,2,4,6,7
R5 - 7,8,9 should run the placings.. only other 3rd place hopes are 5,6
R6 - 6 and 8 clearly on top from 7 then 2 and 5 (if 8 is >$5 i'm backing it e/w)
R7 - 7 e/w special (trialling super in vic.. in a stable that usually wins when they come to SA) from 1,6,9,10,11,12
R8 - 1 and 8 on top from field - very open race this one, but I like 8...
R9 - 2,4,9,10 the hopes (4 will go much better with a better driver on)
R10 - 1 leads, so 7 e/w special from 1 and then 2,4,6,8,9,10

Anyone betting at Cranbourne.. i'm having 1 bet there tonight - the 6 in the last.. expect it to go good.

Good luck

Mal, I'm not suggesting you dont know your stuff but keep laying horses that start @ $13.90 and pay $2.50 the drum and see how long you last. I agree with Bayman and would rather lay horses that are unders and the shorter the better [eg.Carnival Rose].

I've always said a horse can back up in 24 hours if the trainer knows what they are doing, not only did it back up, but it almost won.. great run...

Agree Mal - running them over and over and over is a risk, but twice in 2 days and then a 10 - 14 day break is fine and no harm on the horse.. good training effort and the horse went good....
